Stopped in to try the Montréal-style poutine while walking around the Ottawa Red-Blacks stadium. Got a cappuccino and latte. Large cups of deliciousness. My husband accidentally spilled his cup and the owner replaced it without asking. So considerate! Would recommend 10/10! My son got a delicious Montréal-style poutine. A bit small for $10 but it was delicious!Next time we’ll try a dessert. Nice decor to look at while you wait.

Their shop was closed 30 minutes before closing? Possibly longer?! No sign on the door to explain. I drove 30 minutes just for gelato and this is what I got. Awful. At least leave a note to explain to your customers why you closed way earlier than your advertised hours.

Food is amazing I enjoy it a lot, however the lady who was taking my order was very rude and kept pressure me and my friends to leave because a “big group” was coming in. When I tried being nice and asked her what she recommend she said “Go check the menu yourself” with an attitude. I would not go here again, but the food is good.

I don’t normally like to give bad reviews to small business but we were just there with both terrible food and service. The sandwiches were extremely bland which I could get over but the price of the poutine- which looks plentiful in the pictures is awful. 10.99 for an extremely small portion. All around a massive disappointment

An amazing selection of gelato with high-end quality. The owner, Maruan, is incredibly friendly. I will definitely be returning.
Gelato had an old flavour like it had being there a long time. Expresso was very burnt. Panini tasted disgusting. Milk shake tasted like milk not the gelato flavour chosen. Crepe was hard and cold with not so fresh fruit. We threw most of everything in the garbage. Only ate what we did as we went hungry. Save yourself the disappointment and ridiculous cost. I wouldn’t even go there again if it were free. The place is very cute so it has potential.

We've been coming to this gelato shop every time we visit Ottawa. At first it seems like a regular gelato shop, but once inside you see the Middle Eastern twist! We love the unique Middle Eastern flavour options for the gelato, and our favourites so far have been the halwa, jallab and molasses. Definitely a go-to on a hot summer day!

I love Boccato, it’s a lansdowne landmark. It’s a cute little gelato place with a rustic aesthetic. Their gelato is incredible and the service is always so friendly. In the summer I like to come in and get ice coffee. I don’t find their prices unfair for the quality of gelato they serve. I like to think of boccato as lansdowne’s hidden gem and I will always return to get a fix for my sweet tooth!
