I love Boccato, it’s a lansdowne landmark. It’s a cute little gelato place with a rustic aesthetic. Their gelato is incredible and the service is always so friendly. In the summer I like to come in and get ice coffee. I don’t find their prices unfair for the quality of gelato they serve. I like to think of boccato as lansdowne’s hidden gem and I will always return to get a fix for my sweet tooth!

I had the fruit crepe. The owner spent a lot of time making it a fabulous presentation Along with all fruit being very fresh. The owner was so polite and very welcoming. I will definitely go back

This place is over priced. Literally went in asked for their mini pizza and the pizza looked and taste exactly like frozen mini pizzas and it’s wasn’t even crispy the pizza was so soft and not brown at a bottom was so disgusted I even had puked after I left the store why make a dish so rushed (really catfished me with the aesthetic of the furniture

Saw someone post about their “salty food” selection and wish I saw it before ordering their panini. It’s a few small low quality pieces of ham and cheese for $10.. would not recommend. Service was not good either

It's good place to go there but it's not for everyone at all _ there is no thing _ halal market because there is no certificate about the halal meet _ I don't believe at all even if the owner says it's halal market _ so please don't go to this restaurant if you looking for halal market

Had the gelato. Unfortunately the two flavours I had were meant to be distinct but both lacked any semblance of flavour - just sugary water. Very disappointing.

I had the same experience as others related here - gelato was good (small portion) but service was not. Rude person was yelling at people entering the place and replying to customers in a sharp way.

Tried their ice coffee and unfortunately I have to say it was probably the worst ice coffee Ive had in Ottawa so far. It tasted like burnt coffee even with the sweetener in it. Gelato looks great though, but I haven’t tried it.
Love this place. If you’re a fan of dark chocolate, you MUST try their extra dark chocolate ice cream! It’s so delicious! The place is clean and super friendly.

Delightful little cafe and pastry shop on a hidden spot in Landsdowne Park. Hubby and I enjoyed smoked meat on rye beer and cappuccino and it was all very nice. The pastries were calling my name but my thighs said no way. Instead we hopped right into the horticultural building —the cafe has an entrance into the hall— and got right down to work on the dance floor at the summer salsa event on Canada Day.

Really good Gelato. Some middle eastern desert and labour's. Loved the pistachios and dark chocolate Gelato. Plus shortbread pistachios cookie. $$ but quality. 12$ for my 2 scoop plus desert.
