My wife found this nice place to stop on our way back to Barrhaven from Ottawa, what a great stop. They have a nice outdoor patio area and the indoor space is quite nice. The wooden tables and decor give it a really nice vibe. The beer and food are ordered separately. The bartender was really nice and gave good insight into their beers and their specials. My wife and I each ordered a pint. The marzen was great, it was nice to have as it is generally hard to find this beer style....
Great food and drink at this establishment! I was happy to see a wider selection of local beers on tap; this was beyond what is advertised on the website. Everything we had was very tasty. The style of potato salad seemed unique to me -- of course not mayonnaise-based, but also not slices in an oil+vinegar base -- rather it was approaching home fries with mustard, dill, perhaps curry spice? It was still a great potato side dish.

Great spot for a lunch break or an evening with your friends. Staff is very kind and helpful. They have some boards games you can play and a few different germans food options. Also free complimentary popcorn!
