I had a delightful experience at the Cacao 70!The staff went above and beyond – when I realized I made a mistake with my order and wasn't enjoying it, they not only graciously offered to change it but also didn't charge me for the replacement. Their attentive service and genuine care made me a happy and loyal customer.

All in all the best place in Ottawa to have desserts. Super yummy, super nice, super service, and above all super clean. The manager is a very considerate person. He is so humble and would address any concern at once. For him, the customer is always right and always leaves happy. Everything on the menu is great and yummy. Prices are great based on the service you are getting there. Highly recommend it specially if your girl is mad at you, she is totally forgiving you if you take her to such a magical place. Take your boss he/ she will give you a raise ???Dietary restrictions: Just ask them and they will take care of whatever restriction you haveParking: You can park in the hood and walk for 5 minutes there.Kid-friendliness: Very, sometimes they give kids extra chocolate for free.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes very accessible

I gave this place a chance and I’m overall satisfied. Both the hot chocolate and cheesecake were flavourful and not too sugary which is great. The vibe is ok but it could be better… as when I think chocolate I think intimate, chic and darker ambiance. My biggest complaint is the price point though, for the overall experience it should be a little cheaper.

OMG GUYS!!!! This place is the heaven of chocolate, you feel like you are visiting Belgium as delve into the three kinds of chocolates they have (white, milk, and dark), and you feel like you are in France when you have their Crepe that comes with many different toppings, back to Belgium their waffles are originals, and I am not talking about any waffles, they are real ones not the cheap old ones we get in other places. Basically, everything they have is great. Now the service, the ladies who work there are very polite and respectful, they keep asking you if you need anything, they usually give you more chocolate if you need more, the owner is AMAZING, he attended me himself because the place was busy and he is sooo humble.Dietary restrictions: I don't have any but one of my friends has and he asked them and they took it into consideration.Kid-friendliness: VERY FriendlyWheelchair accessibility: YES

Friends of mine and I have been to this Cacao 70 and have not had the best of experiences. We decided to go last Saturday and immediately said something is different. The service, atmosphere and cleanliness were on a different level.My friend asked: “Has there been a change of management?” To which they explained, yes and we remarked that we definitely could notice. With the way that things have been elevated - safe to say we’ll be back again. Thank you to Ali & the team for making it a great experience.

Terrible. Visited Saturday at 11am since they have a brunch menu. Large restaurant and only 1 employee!! For the whole place. She was hostess, server, cook, bus person and coffee bar for take outs. Our food and drinks took so so long. I got the vegetarian buckwheat crepe with eggs. The eggs were cooked ok the bottom but still raw and cold yolks and whites on top. The crepe was so dry and the béchamel sauce was barely even brushed on. The tuna wrap my mom got was nothing but a can of tuna with some seasoning wrapped with some spinach leaves and a tortilla shell. No mayo or anything. We paid over $50 and left tired, disappointed and hungry. Only go here if you want their chocolate.
