One of those niche stores that you hope pops up in your neighborhood. Chez François really goes above and beyond if you are looking for getting goods from a French style boulangerie. They import quite a bit of items from Europe and France, specifically.

I went there for their croissants (buy 5 get the 6th one for free). But they also have a buy a croissant, get a coffee for $1.

I might be biased, but I found the spinach croissant with cheese...

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our late morning rendezvous at Chez Francois. The atmosphere and service were both welcoming - like a mini vacation to France or Quebec City or Montreal. Merci pour tous! Cynthia

For the past two years, this hidden gem of a pastry shop has been my ultimate discovery in Ottawa. With their friendly service and cozy atmosphere, it's become my go-to spot for heavenly pastries that always leave me craving more. Their pastries are unrivaled; the croissants, crafted from imported French ingredients, rival those found in Europe. I'm grateful for the opportunity to savor such delicious treats right here in Ottawa, it's like having a taste of Europe...
