Had a lovely lunch here with my Aunt and 3 sisters. Food was freshly prepared, generous portions and great tasting. We all had something different and it was all great. We sat out on the lakeside deck and watched the geese and ducks and two small planes land and take off! Lovely. Will be back.

I had the breakfast burrito with bacon and salsa inside, and my friend had a club sandwich & fries. We both actively enjoyed it, but it was nothing crazy. Prices were the same as in the Kanata area. The waitress was so nice and very quick. It felt like a laid back diner, but in a log cabin with a fishing motif. The toilets are weird, in that they're raised up on a wood block, so if you have to sit, it's a bit awkward and you don't have good footing. The washroom door handles consist of a rifle on the men's, and a rolling pin on the women's. The view was of the lake and you can watch the seaplanes take off and land. I imagine a dinner here watching the sunset would be beautiful.

The place is great been coming for years it's a nice spot and cozy . My complaint is the prices are out of control. Kid breakfast 11$. Basic breakfast 15$ . I understand things have increased in price these days but no way was my basic breakfast worth 15$ there wasn't anything special about it. Homefrys are are just frozen and deep fried they are just French frys ! We even over heard a group of guys on the way out shocked about their bills.
