I never complain about restaurants, but this one was the first time I got served cold food. Not just one dish either. Every item served to everyone in my group was freezing. It wasn’t even slightly warm, honestly felt like it just came out of the fridge. All I could think of was Gordon Ramsay being dramatic and spitting it out lol. It wasn’t bad, tasted pretty okay overall, but it wasn’t warm. It was also pretty expensive, especially for what was served.

I showed up Friday night around 11pm with my brother who is special needs. He has a slight physical disability. We walk in and the bouncer did not let us in because my brother needed assistance going up the stairs at the entrance (which I was doing). The bouncer inside by the name of Yonatan said he couldn't let us in because my brother would be a liability if he falls. I said but he won't fall because I am right here next to him guiding him. He proceeded to tell me that he has the authority to analyze the situation and say we could not come in.I then said but this goes against my brother's human rights.. he then asked what rights are those? I educate him by informing him that no one should be denied goods or services based on their disability. He then replies that this is a private property, to which I responded that they are open to the public, meaning they have the right to serve to the public and not discriminate base on someone's disability. Two other bouncers approached us to try to rectify the situation, but it was too late. We do not feel welcomed here. Yonatan then comes out to say he spoke to the manager that was "willing to make an exception this one time" .... This shouldn't need to be an exception made . People with disabilities don't deserve to be discriminated or denied entry to a bar on a Friday night at 11pm. My brother is a young guy like anyone else and he just wanted to be out and socialize like any other individual In their 20s. Needless to say, we will be boycotting this place and will proceed to spread the word of how they disrespect people here.
Wheelchair accessibility: No accessibility whatsoever. In fact they deny you entry If you struggle slightly to go up the stairs for being a "liability"

It's shocking and disheartening that they discriminate against people with physical disabilities. My friend brother who is physically disabled was denied entry from a bouncer. They were told her brother would be a liability. She was helping him walk in and the bouncer was very close minded. Management should do training on discrimination, it is clearly needed at this establishment.

The location is perfect for a wander in the Market. The atmosphere was OK as was the food. It came out hot, but underwhelming in flavor. Service met the minimum expectation. All in all, I would go again but with lowered expectations.
The food here was quite good. My partner and I shared the marinated sirloin steak that you cook to your liking yourself on a hot lava stone. Cooking the steak on the stone was probably the most fun I've ever had at a restaurant. When it was all said and done, the food itself was really really good. The only critique I have is our meal was listed as a meal for two people and the amount of food we got didn't leave us feeling satisfied at the end. Our portion of meat was actually perfect, but more rice and veggies would have been appreciated. Given how cheap it would be to provide a little bit more of these parts of the dish, it confuses me why they were so skimpy with them. Service was lovely, a very nice young lady made sure our time at Cornerstone was enjoyable and comfortable from start to finish.

Slow, our waitress visited our table total 2 times. And when we finally had to call other waitress for our bill, she gave us the eye rolling thingy. One beer was missing. My friend had to wait 30mins to get a pizza after everyone finished eating. Good place to practice your patience. Asked 3 times if we could get a bill. Very disappointed, over priced.

This restaurant is located in the heart of the Market area of Ottawa, so it was great to sit on the outdoor patio and enjoy the action surrounding us! I enjoyed a delicious sangria and ordered the maple salmon bowl. Wow!! It was fantastic! A large portion of salmon was served with rice and tasty vegetables.
Dropped in for a quick lunch. Food was delicious, service superb. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We visited this restaurant last night and just picked it whilst walking around Ottawa. We waited around 10 minutes for a table which was fine with us. Upon seating we were brought over water straightaway but did have to wait another 15 minutes for our waitress to take our drinks and food order. Our food was delicious, we had the steak and frites, soy salmon and rice, nachos and the chicken and avocado sandwich. We would definitely recommend
Our waitress was great and her service was the lone bright spot of the night! The food on the other hand was a huge disappointment. Cold and soggy nachos that also had a 6$ charge for a few pieces of chicken. We had fries that were ice cold. The burgers were decent but nothing mind blowing. We saw that this place was pretty busy so we figured that it would be a safe bet. Not sure if we just came at a bad time but we left pretty disappointed.
