Absolutely incredible! Would absolutely add this to the list of must visit spots in Ottawa. They did a great curated mocktail (not just mixed juice) and every item we ate was absolutely delicious! Each item was carefully crafted, marrying complex and cozy flavours with beautiful presentation. 10/10 would absolutely eat again.

Buvette Daphnée offers a wonderful dining experience with delicious and innovative food, making it a standout in Ottawa. The chef's choice menu and wine pairings are highly recommended. The restaurant's seasonal menu features impressive dishes like the whole sea bass, praised for its perfectly crispy skin and tender fish, and the snow crab parfait, noted for its unique and refreshing flavors. The grilled celery root salad remains a favorite for its execution and flavors, while the duck mortadella and hay potatoes have also received high praise. The team is happy to accommodate dietary needs, including gluten-free options. Although the sourdough bread and maple butter could use some improvement, and some desserts may not meet expectations, the overall focus remains on a fantastic culinary experience with a great ambience. The interior is cute, and while they don't serve tea or coffee, the cocktails and drinks have been described as very well balanced and amazing. For those dining as a couple, sitting at the bar is highly recommended for a chance to see the food being made and engage more with the wonderful staff.
