Meh! It was ok. Honestly I found it to be more of a BBQ chicken Roti than a proper jerk chicken Roti. Seems like a nice family run business. I'm not sure how much of a "restaurant" it is though seems like more of a side gig.

Ended up in this area due to our kids sports and we googled nearby food. This was amazing! We had the goat roti platter and the kids had fried chicken specials. This place is a hidden gem for sure, it was top notch, the service was excellent. When you can tell the chef is more concerned about showcasing their food than making money, you know this place will have staying power

Service is amazing! The lady, I’m assuming owner is absolutely delightful. It seems apparent she takes great pride in the restaurant, her cooking, and that she loves her customers. I ordered the goat roti and I decided to tack on the 2-piece special for later on. The roti itself was soft with a healthy layering of dal poured. The best in Ottawa. The goat was so flavourful and tender that you don’t even need teeth to chew it. There was a nice bit of Chana but I didn’t feel it was filler. I ordered mine ?️ and it came just correct. Nothing overwhelming. Not too salty, just perfectly seasoned (I even had to pull out some sprigs of fresh thyme). She took care to remove as much bone as possible and there were very few when I took it home. No chewy gristle. 5/5. The fried chicken special was delicious. Perfectly crispy, tender, and a just the right amount of sauce so it didn’t make the chicken soggy. The fries were tasty and generous. It included one meaty leg and thigh. Atmosphere… way too hot inside! I felt bad for the lady cooking that I decided to wait inside in solidarity ? There is a cute patio outside to eat or wait for your takeout. I’m so glad I live right around the corner from here. I look forward to making this place my end of week treat!

If I could give less than a star I would. The lady working there is beyond rude. Worst customer service I have ever had. She clearly doesn't like people. Then the food took way too long, chicken dry, rice sticky. The restaurant overall is just dirty. Don't waste your time and money. Also saw a cockroach run accross the counter . Digusting!

Came here for jerk chicken. I have been wanting to try this place. The person that served me was clearly high as a kite... someone said it was the owner. The food...terrible. I will stick with Island Grill for food Caribbean food.

Could someone explain to me how a scoop of rice, vegetables and chicken thigh is 22 dollars? Why did it take 45 minutes? In Toronto you could go anywhere (Sunrise, Chris Jerk etc...) they give you at least a leg and thigh, plantains, vegetables etc... They didn't even put sauce on the rice. I wish I knew it cost 22$ Who is eating here? How do they sleep at night? God help them.

Can’t comment on the food but I was looking forward to trying this place out. I ordered a meal from the TGTG app. When I went to get it, the person at the front said “no you not at the right place”. I showed them the order I placed on the app and they said “I ain’t giving free food away”.
Goat curry with rice and vegetables was delicious. I will be back to try the chicken.

I’ve had a variety of items from Da Chicken Cribb and everything was absolutely delicious!! The jerk chicken was phenomenal and a personal favourite is the sautéed vegetables.
Got the 2 piece chicken with rice.Chicken quality is not good, of of the two pieces barely had any meat. Just fried bones essentially.Rice wasn’t great either.Counter guy was nice and atmosphere is OK.
