Food is good but not good enough to deal with the horrendous service and rude staff. This was my fifth visit in the last year and it is definitely my last. Server was very rude. Service was extremely slow, took 25 minutes just to order. Not worth it.

This place is my absolute go-to for brunch! Their pancakes are divine—seriously the best I've had. It's not just the food; the entire experience is fantastic. The vibe is cozy and welcoming, the food is consistently wonderful, and the service is always top-notch. Highly recommended!

Waited 10 mins and then had to ask to have our order taken. The food was quite bland. The quesadilla chorizo had no kick and little flavour. Even the pico de gallo on top of the quesadilla had no flavor. The hash pan with mushrooms a d caramelized onions that my BF had with the bechamel suace had barely any salt and no pepper or flavor. I would say the only redeeming factors about this place is the stylish look of the place and the house potatoes which were really good. Who knows, maybe their savarory dishes just aren't as good as the sweet ones ...but I'm not into sweet for brunch. Their pour over coffee was also really good and the staff was friendly. 3/5 for me, but could be your cup of tea if you don't like intense flavours.

Been to this establishment several times, usually very briefly. A few times I sat in with friends to have brunch. A friend felt that the customer service was horrible, they completely ignored her and catered the people behind her. She’s a POC, I myself heard things about potentially racism at this establishment. I recently went and I got completely ignored by the 2 staff at the front. Like I didn’t exist. It was odd. I decided to wait up to 5 mins to see if maybe they’d acknowledge me. Maybe say hello, or we’ll get to you soon, thank you for waiting. But nothing. I walked out and decided I’ll never spend another dollar at this establishment. I can’t say 100% that it’s a racist place, but I got the worst vibes and poor treatment for no reason. Please be kind and respectful to your customers irregardless of race. It can reflect poorly on your establishment. Thank you.

Went here last night for the first time after passing by lots of times. The food was a pleasant surprise, not something I would expect to find on a random try - very good seasonings and wide range for a small dinner menu. The server Michelle was very friendly and told us that the ceviche was amazing which she was right about. We asked about activities in the area and she was happy to provide recommendations for while we are in town. This would be five stars but the place itself needs some work - the decor is a bit odd, and the tables are VERY close together making it feel cramped and over packed. If it was busy we would be sitting almost touching the other patrons.

Absolutely love Dessert First! My husband and I both had the Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict special and it was amazing. The home fries are incredible and cooked perfectly too. We highly recommend it.
