This place is amazing. Nice atmosphere and great design. The server was nice and helpful. The thing that stands out most is the pricing. The food is very cheap for the amount of food you get. This is amazing for all the students who study at the University of Ottawa and are trying to save some money. I wish I was able to go for the breakfast because it looked amazing and the prices were insane but I was too late so I had lunch instead. I wanted to try a lot of different things so I ordered the Combo Plate which came with chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, chicken wings, onion rings, parodies, fried pickles, fries and a few sauces. Everything was amazing, the only thing I'd say is that the parodies were a little underwhelming but apart from that it was perfect. For $16.99 this was a huge portion and I wasn't able to finish it. My friend's got the Chicken Parmigiana, Buffalo Chicken Wrap and Poutine which they all said were really good. I would highly recommend anyone who's looking for delicious food and huge portions for a cheaper price to come here.

I love it here. Me and my brother go here every year for his birthday, been doing it for years and will always do so. Great food, great price, great place to watch the games. They also sell gift certificates so that's his birthday gift every year. He loves it. Haha

Look, Fathers and Sons is an institution, but lately I've been reluctant to return. Staff have NOT been pleasant, and are rude. I don't expect anything affluent, but being generally pleasant to interact with would be nice, as apposed to the look of dismay when asking for my order... been about 5 plus encounters over the past 2 months. Also, never came and checked on our table of 4. Seems to be the new operating method, from what i hear from other students and locals.

Came to grab 80 wings for my family on their wing night, was told I HAVE TO dine in, what kind of ridiculous rule is that when people leave with leftovers anyways? No thanks… I don’t want to be surrounded by loud kids after work, such a ridiculous rule…

Honestly it’s not very often I give a solid five stars but in the 6 years since I’ve been going here, the quality and the vibes have been rocking constantly. There’s a reason why this restaurant has been serving Geegees for so long; nice prices, good food, and cheers all around. They also have event themed nights too like Cherokee night which I highly recommend.

Very popular restaurant 👌 it was packed on a Sunday morning 😋 food came quickly given how busy it was. And the service was pleasant. The server kept filling our coffee even though it was very busy. Thank you for accommodating my son's non salty poutine order.

note to other customers: if you are showing up during peak hours, expect a wait. they have one kitchen. you sitting on the empty patio doesn't magically create a second kitchen to make orders go faster. consider using context clues next time.
