Feast + Revel truly delivers on all fronts. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and professional—setting the tone for a memorable evening. The food was absolutely awesome. I had the chorizo pasta, and it was nothing short of delightful—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every bite was a testament to the kitchen's creativity and attention to detail. The cocktails were also a highlight—crafted with care and creativity, they were perfectly balanced and on par with some of the best I've had. Whether you're into classics or something with a twist, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a top-tier meal in a chic yet relaxed setting.
What an underwhelming experience for the Mother’s Day brunch at $226 for 2 people. Being there right at 11 am when the brunch started, you would think that the food and coffee would be fresh and hot? A resounding no! Thankfully our waiter made us a fresh cup of coffee (he was the only positive aspect of our dining experience as he was attentive with his good service) , but every item we tried was lukewarm at best as they never closed the lids to any of the chafing dishes. I never tried any of the lunch offerings as I was so disappointed with the breakfast section. Having worked previously in an Ottawa hotel restaurant that charged 1/3 of the price, Andaz and their chef need to do much better.
We went there for mother's day, expecting to eat from the a-la-carte menu (as was mentioned when making the reservation), but when we got there we were told that only the buffet option was available today for $85 per person and were basically told that if we couldn't afford it, we could leave. However, against our better judgment, we stayed. The selection of dishes was good, but they couldn't keep the food warm. Everything was cold. Now, I normally don't write reviews, but I had to for this one because they automatically included a 18% service charge (the lady clearly called it a tip) on our table of 4. So they were really expecting us to pay $60 just to bring waters (it's a buffet after all). They removed it after we asked, but it still rubbed us the wrong way. Anyway, we won't be returning and don't recommend.
The food was okay but we expected more for the price. The drinks were good but lacked garnish. Waiter and bartender were friendly but the service was quite slow. It was a near 2h dinner with only 3 tables. Ambiance was really nice. Overall, we would not come back since we can get much better food and drinks for a comparable price.
The restaurant was virtually empty on a Thursday evening. I had the sirloin steak and it was probably the best steak I've ever had. The staff were equally amazing. I highly recommend.
Feast + Revel offers a fantastic dining experience with delicious food and a great atmosphere. The steak was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and simply outstanding. Their drink selection is impressive, with something to complement every dish. The only downside, like many downtown spots, is the limited parking, which can be a bit of a hassle. Despite that, it’s well worth a visit for the exceptional food and service!
Service is wonderful and atmosphere is lovely. The food is overall good. They have a good selection. I think the restaurant has a lot of potential! My critique is that I think they put too much dairy in their food and it’s very overpowering. For dinner I had the tomato basil cream pasta, and the tomato basil was lost in the cream. For breakfast I had the sunrise omelette, and the veggies and eggs were overpowered by the goat cheese. I think having less dairy in the food might make the food better because the ingredients will be more balanced!
We were delighted with the 5 course New Year’s menu. Each course was perfectly prepared, flavourful and beautifully plated. Service throughout was excellent.
The New Year's 5 course menu was perfectly prepared and we were thoroughly delighted with each course. The service was excellent.
10/10, cannot recommend enough. Mustafa, our server, was amazing; he was incredibly professional, personable, and present. Impeccable timing, anticipation, and execution. Very impressed. The food was incredible as well! My lamb sauce was the best I've ever had and my wife's crab was the best she's ever had. We will be back.

Everything was absolutely perfect except for maybe one minor item, which was the waitress not coming to visit more often to see if we needed anything. This second was one of the meals was a lobster tail and it was excessively small extremely disappointed with that but everything else was perfect.
Amazing brunch with beautiful views 🤩
Disappointing Christmas Dinner at Andaz Hotel Restaurant My family and I were excited for a special Christmas Eve dinner at this restaurant, but it turned out to be an incredibly disappointing experience. We reserved a 6:30 PM table and confirmed availability multiple times during the day. However, upon arrival, we were seated at the worst table in the restaurant—right next to the open kitchen. The constant noise from staff traffic and a loud bell ringing for ready orders made the setting far from enjoyable. When I requested a different table, I was told the restaurant was full, yet I noticed several empty tables, including one reserved for a “large group” that arrived at 7:20 PM as a party of three. To make matters worse, our table was under a cold draft, and the portable heaters were ineffective. The staff's handling of cutlery behind us was excessively noisy and unprofessional. Service was chaotic throughout. My daughter’s cheeseburger from the kids’ menu arrived without cheese, and we had to remind the waiter twice to bring vinegar for her fries. My wife’s margarita was overly spicy and took so long to arrive that she asked to cancel it, but was told it couldn’t be canceled because it had already been made. It eventually came out with her main dish, which was supposed to be paired with a red wine the waiter suggested earlier. The wine was forgotten and only brought after a reminder, far too late to enjoy with the meal. The food itself was a major letdown—cold and lacking flavor. Given the $300 price tag, we expected far better. When it came time to pay, we waited ages for the bill. It was only when we stood up to leave that the waiter processed the transaction at a nearby desk, making the experience feel more like a diner than a fine dining establishment. When asked for feedback, I honestly shared my dissatisfaction, but no effort was made to address the issues. The entire experience left us feeling undervalued, and I can’t help but wonder if being French Canadian played a role in the poor treatment. For an Andaz hotel restaurant, this was unacceptable. We won’t be returning and cannot recommend it for special occasions.
Disappointing Christmas Dinner at Andaz Hotel Restaurant
My family and I were deeply disappointed with our Christmas Eve dinner at this restaurant. We chose it for its chic reputation and the promise of a special three-course Christmas meal, but the experience fell far below expectations.
I made a reservation for 6:30 PM and confirmed availability multiple times during the day. Upon arrival, we were seated at the worst table in the restaurant—right next to the open-design kitchen. The constant noise from staff traffic and the loud bell ringing for ready orders made it impossible to enjoy the meal. When I asked to be moved, I was told the restaurant was full. However, several empty tables were visible, including one reserved for a “large group” that didn’t arrive until 7:20 PM and consisted of just three people. It felt like no effort was made to accommodate us better.
To make matters worse, our table was under a cold draft. Though portable heaters were turned on briefly, they didn’t stay on long enough to make a difference. The staff's handling of cutlery behind us was noisy and disruptive—completely unprofessional for a restaurant of this caliber.
The service was chaotic at best. My daughter’s cheeseburger from the kids’ menu arrived without cheese, and we had to remind the waiter twice to bring vinegar for her fries. My wife ordered a margarita that tasted overwhelmingly of jalapeño. When she asked to cancel it after not receiving it for a long time, she was told it couldn’t be canceled because it had already been made. It was eventually brought out alongside her main dish, which was supposed to be paired with the red wine the waiter suggested earlier. The wine was forgotten and only brought after a reminder, far too late to enjoy with her meal.
The food was another disappointment—cold and underwhelming, far below the standards we expected for a $300 meal. The bill itself took ages to arrive. We only received it after standing up to leave, and the payment process felt like a diner experience, with the waiter running the transaction at a nearby desk.
When the waiter asked for feedback, I was honest about our dissatisfaction, but no effort was made to address our concerns. We left feeling undervalued and ignored.
To top it off, I can’t help but wonder if our treatment had anything to do with being French Canadian, as it felt like we were given the short end of the stick all evening.
For an Andaz hotel restaurant, this experience was utterly unacceptable. We will not be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant, especially for a special occasion like Christmas.
Great Restaurant, Mustapha one of the service member was so caring and friendly. The food was great I loved their table sauce salad it was delicious.
