I love this place. The Dolsot BibimBap with beef is delicious. The sauces and kimchi are great too.

The expensive pork soup is flavorless. The soup x2 not good, went in the garbage. Almost $50 worth of soup GARBAGE. Also, shiitty appetizer another $12. I hungry now go to McDonald's another $30 for 2 tummy satisfied.

Ordered the katsu bento, and while most of it was tasty, the katsu itself felt stale and far from fresh. To top it off, I found the top part of a sauce dispenser in the breading. The staff’s response? A quick and quiet “sorry about that” right before I left. Not recommended

The soup and bimbimbap tasted great and fresh, was season very well. The KFC was saucy and crispy at the same time and had delicious flavours.

They only provided 3 slices of potatoes and small pieces of kimchi though which was very disappointing.

The chicken was on the dryer side, they made the decision to not cut the breast into smaller pieces which made things over cooked. We were promised every cut of the chicken but we were missing the thighs. They instead only gave us the backbone of the thigh and the actual thigh meat and bone wasn’t there. Was misleading.

Had sweet and spicy chicken via Uber Eats - I will not be ordering from here again.

The sauce was salty, and the soy sauce taste was very strong. I could not taste any spice. The sauce was very liquid, not sticky. Commonly, sweet and spicy sauce is usually red, but this was brown.

As a Korean, I expect a Korean restaurant to also serve their fried chicken with pickled radish, but that was not included.

The portion was sufficient.

I always go here for my fix of fried chicken, and they consistently deliver.

My go-to order is the fried chicken with cheese on top, but their other flavours (e.g., garlic and soy, honey garlic, etc.) are also great picks.

In terms of the chicken quality: crispy skin always, and never dry; I’ve never been disappointed.

I should also mention that have solid sides, like their cheese balls, fries and tteokbokki. They pair nicely with the drink options.

Whether you have a craving or you just need a place to go after a hike, it’s always there.

Korean food lovers need to go here. The food is so good, comforting, absolutely spot on taste and flavor. I like the fact that they have maintained the authentic taste. Been to this place a few times, ate tteobokki (love it), fried chicken, bibimbap, pajeon, etc. and the quality is always fresh. The portions are generous. The aesthetic is quite, comfy and warm. It gives you the K-dramas restaurant vibes. The servers are polite and engaging. The manager is very sweet to talk to and welcoming. Finally a great Korean place in Ottawa.

Absolutely fantastic food here. Fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. Im going to be dream of this chicken for weeks. Left 1/2 a pant size bigger because it’s so good you hit full and want to keep going.

The KFC was delicious!! Authentic flavour with the perfect amount of crisp and flavour. During my visit I went a few times to try different flavours and landed on my favourite one - the SWEET & SPICY!

The service was amazing with staff who were kind and quick. I was able to sit here during a couple evenings and work while munching on delicious KFC.

Additionally, with a convenient location downtown, the walk was great, had views of beautiful street art and was accessible. I 100% recommend GOGIYA Korean Fried Chicken & Dolsot!

I would say, save your money on this place. Overall the food was not very pleasant. The apezitiers were super greasy and with served with no sauces and we had ordered the dumplings & shrimp tempura which generally does, regardless, the appetizers tasted like frozen food heated up. The fried chicken was not bad! But definitely not high quality meat, and for the price, not worth it. The service here is well.. ameatur. And to top it off, they don't even have napkins.. yes you read that right.
