They have a very generous breakfast for $13.99 and includes a nice sized coffee (or any bottled drink). The service was warm and welcoming.

I've been going to the Green Bean since it opened several years ago, largely eating the same chicken bacon sandwich because I'm a creature of habit. I've recently tried the pulled pork sandwich and oh - my - god what a world of flavour. This is seriously my favourite cafe in Ottawa and the best sandwich spot around, easily competing with Art-Is-In, Red Apron, or any other hip spots of local fame. The service is incredibly reliable and the atmosphere is cozy and calm. Business seems to be doing well and full every time I go in.

Cutest cafe in town!!!

Kid-friendliness: A bit tight to navigate a stroller but we managed! No automatic door. Parking close by.

Great cozy place. Food is delicious, with reasonable prices. They serve tasty soup dailly. It's one of my favorite spots.

Coffee was phenomenal!
Pumpkin cookie was a bit too sweet for my liking, but hubby thought it was a perfect coffee treat!

I have tired several things since discovering this cafe, all have been very well made and delicious.
I have had their smoothies, oat lattes, americanos, homemade stuffed peanut butter chocolate cookies, brownies, and a cream cheese veggie croissant with bean salad. All very tasty!

Hidden gem for sure. First time visit on a whim, got the chicken bacon club. Generous portions and very tasty. Plenty of toppings you can add. It was heated which melted the cheese perfectly. Also grabbed a couple frozen soups, peanut butter bar and giant chocolate chip peanut butter stuffed cookie. Cookie was a delicious desert, it was too big to finish in one sitting. Looking forward to trying the soups. I will most certainly be back asap.

Over this summer I came in with my coworker. During the summer we went to this cafe about every week day at lunch time and my coworker would order an over 20 dollar sandwich every time . After going in everyday for over a month I decided to treat myself to one of their cookies (overpriced). I was first in line yet the cashier repeatedly would skip me over and let the next person order instead of me. I let it slide at first thinking it was just a mistake. I wasn’t upset at all because I could understand maybe he thought I was just waiting with my coworker for her food. Finally the third time around I had said “excuse me, I’m next” he looked OVER me purposefully looking past me to let the next costumer (who had just walked in) order. She politely motioned over to me letting him know I was first in line. He then reassured her and said it was okay and she can order. I got extremely upset but I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to be rude. After she finally ordered he got to me, (three people have now gone ahead of me) he never said sorry or said he didn’t see me (even though I was standing right infront of the cash). He completely ignored the fact I had been waiting for around ten minutes when I had been first in line. I bought my cookie (5 dollars by the way) just to find out it was raw on the inside and disgusting. After paying he even had the nerve to turn the reader around for me to give a tip. I know people can have bad days sometimes but truly the experience was not at all enjoyable. Especially since I had seen him everyday for basically the whole summer, and my coworker and I would spend a significant amount of money there.

I went to this cafe while visiting with my family. It is such a cute little spot. The food was amazing. The coffee was good. It was quite busy when we went and the service was fantastic! I would definitely go back!

Cute little neighbourhood cafe, with an extensive menu. We love the fresh breakfast croissants, filled with egg, cheese, bacon and tomato. Friendly atmosphere, and great service.
