The atmosphere was lively, and there was no wait time. Classical piano music filled the air as we were greeted by the owner. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee was inviting. We decided to order toasted deli sandwiches and freshly made smoothies. It’s a great place to catch up on some work while enjoying delicious food. I would rate the Green Bean Cafe a 6.9 out of 10.

My Dad loves coming here, and I was able to have a meal with him here today. It has very a pleasant atmosphere, helpful accommodating staff and quality food at great prices! Everyone seemed to be repeat customers because all I could hear from the chatter within were compliments on past meals and visits. From freshly brewed coffee, to smoothies, freshly baked goods, sandwiches, a breakfast menu, fresh failt soups, and meals packaged to bring home for later consumption! Pop in to this gem 💎 you will surely be back!

It's probably the most bitter espresso I drank. If you are an espresso aficionado, I do not recommend it.

First time visit today to this hidden gem. We had the best western sandwiches (on a croissant - could also have chosen to have the sandwich on a bagel or baguette and also got to choose what cheese you wanted on the sandwich) and a delicious latte....made with top quality ingredients. The music was gentle and unobtrusive, atmosphere was very welcoming and the service was great. It was perfect place to meet with a friend and linger. We will be back.

They have a very generous breakfast for $13.99 and includes a nice sized coffee (or any bottled drink). The service was warm and welcoming.

I've been going to the Green Bean since it opened several years ago, largely eating the same chicken bacon sandwich because I'm a creature of habit. I've recently tried the pulled pork sandwich and oh - my - god what a world of flavour. This is seriously my favourite cafe in Ottawa and the best sandwich spot around, easily competing with Art-Is-In, Red Apron, or any other hip spots of local fame. The service is incredibly reliable and the atmosphere is cozy and calm. Business seems to be doing well and full every time I go in.

Kid-friendliness: A bit tight to navigate a stroller but we managed! No automatic door. Parking close by.
