“I was craving shawarma and found this place on my way home from work. I'm new to Ottawa and my shawarma standards are high because my hometown has amazing shawarma that no other spots have come close to and I've tried many places already in Ottawa. Let me tell you, this place DID NOT DISSAPOINT! Amazing shawarma every bit of it! I will definitely be returning. The best I've had in Ottawa by FAR!“

“Awesome broast chicken. Crunchy on the outside, juicy and well seasoned on the inside- just as you'd hope for. We had also ordered lamb chops, which was great too.

This place appeared to be busier with takeout and delivery orders than with customers dining in. It did, however, offer a cozy and inviting seating arrangement.

Again, broast chicken is the star item for what I'll return to this restaurant.“

“I love eating at Bergham, their food is so good and one of the best burger places in Ottawa. The only negative point that the place is so dirty and nobody takes care of the cleanliness. They should really take care of it and have some renovations. I am sorry to admit that but somebody should do something about it so it becomes our favourite place. Other than that everything is good. The staff are friendly, the food is so good, and the overall experience is fine. Just the place and cleanliness are so bad.“

“Tried their large pizza with toppings. The toppings and portion size was more than enough for tow of us. The dough and ingredients of the pizza were fresh and tasted real good. “Love Lebanese food and this is the real deal (plus a great deal on the price too :) Tried this while travelling to Ottawa and really happy with the experience - the options and taste of the food, the care in the preparation, the great conversation while waiting. Would happily go again!

I settled on the pindi Chana and portion was big. It contains no dairy egg or peanuts. Warning that the changezi contains peanuts. They offer samples to try. The chicken Manchurian is peanut egg and dairy free too.“

“My friends recommend this place to me and I drove from a long distance to try their fried chicken and it was really worth it, the chicken was so tender and very seasoned, good chunks of it too and none of those fake skins (flour dipped) from other chicken spots. Best fried chicken indeed and I really recommend it.Ps: the restaurant is always closed on Sundays as I was informed by cashier.“

“Kids love the halal pepperoni pizza. The dough is delicous.
I eat gluten free and always order a lettuce wrapped bun. The hamburger and all beef bacon are also halal. See Haddar if you want a lettuce wrapped burger or sandwich. He is aware of gluten allergies. We go here often for burgers and pizza. Strawberry shakes are good too.
Very decent prices.

“We ordered the family platter for 4. Halal bbq beef ribs and pulled beef were great. It is a largely self service place with disposable dishes and plates but glad the utensils were of steel. Also liked the corn bread.“

“I visited Amaya Express at Laurent Mall yesterday and had a really pleasant experience. I ordered the garlic naan with chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. The naan was soft, warm, and had just the right amount of garlic, and the chicken was flavorful and well-cooked – a perfect combo!
What stood out even more was the staff – they were extremely polite, attentive, and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. It's always nice to see good customer service paired with great food.
Definitely a spot I’d return to. Highly recommend if you're in the area!“
