“I was craving shawarma and found this place on my way home from work. I'm new to Ottawa and my shawarma standards are high because my hometown has amazing shawarma that no other spots have come close to and I've tried many places already in Ottawa. “Love Lebanese food and this is the real deal (plus a great deal on the price too :) Tried this while travelling to Ottawa and really happy with the experience - the options and taste of the food, the care in the preparation, the great conversation while waiting. Would happily go again!

“My friends recommend this place to me and I drove from a long distance to try their fried chicken and it was really worth it, the chicken was so tender and very seasoned, good chunks of it too and none of those fake skins (flour dipped) from other chicken spots. Best fried chicken indeed and I really recommend it.Ps: the restaurant is always closed on Sundays as I was informed by cashier.“

“We ordered the family platter for 4. Halal bbq beef ribs and pulled beef were great. It is a largely self service place with disposable dishes and plates but glad the utensils were of steel. Also liked the corn bread.“

“Cheeseburger was cooked to order. Fresh bun. Good size pattie. Cheese melted perfectly. Fresh garnish. Good variety of condiments.
Fries were both golden and crispy with just the right amount of salt.
Staff were attentive and quick.
Highly recommend

“I ordered the 3 curry with Rice and Naan combo: the goat curry, paneer, and daal.
I was super excited to try the many curries offered, so I was more surprised when they ask if I wanted to taste test any of the curries for my combo!
I really loved the goat curry, and the daal was a lovely new try!
I was also given a free Gulab Jamun (a Timbit soaked in syrup 🍩🫗) which was delicious!

“This lady serves food with love. She is so thoughtful about how she serves and presents it. And the food was delicious, more like an adventure for my tastebuds and I just thought I’d grab a quick lunch.
If you just want fast food slop then this isn’t the place. If you care about what you eat and thoughtful service, this is the spot.“

“Great place for South Asian food! The food was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. They have a nice variety of options, and the pizza was especially delicious. The staff were friendly and the service was good. I also liked that the place has a halal market, which makes it very convenient. Definitely worth visiting, and I would come back again.“
