This desperately needed spot in our busy neighbourhood is not well run compared to the welcoming atmosphere & terrific food of HG Glebe location, or even Old Ottawa South HG location. We're NOT part of the empty coffee cup/laptop crowd. Instead we've spent a lot of $$ at Main HG for breakfasts, lunches and every day, a specialty coffee/treat x 2. However, recently we were undeservedly, very badly treated by grumpy staff. We have not been back. Tartelette, Qui Pense and the other HG's are getting our considerable daily business going forth. The Main HG location needs a tune up!! All those occupied-for-the-day seats with those empty coffee cups, the staff attitude, poor food and often unclean premise are not serving the people who live in the Main & Greystone neighbourhoods. Bridgehead we need you to move in!!!

I really like the atmosphere here. I have only tried its coffee-based drinks so far, and they were all good. Some days they also have some sort of live show with local artists. I recommend this place.

Good coffee. Mediocre cookies. Free wifi. Two toilets. Only oat and soy milk. And HAPPY HOUR!!!!!!Dietary restrictions: They have vegan desserts and vegan breakfast wraps.

I am a regular customer here, and I've always had positive experiences with the staff (most are friendly and will converse with the clients). However, I kindly requested no foam in my drink with a smile, but the barista's response was extremely rude. I must admit, I am quite disappointed, and it makes me reconsider whether I want to continue coming here. I hope this was a one time thing, because I love the main location and HG’s coffee.

Had an unpleasant experience with rude staff at this location. I think I'll personally stick to Starbucks after this. The drinks here are decent but not really worth coming back for. There's usually a lot of strange hipster SJWs sitting in the place too, making the atmosphere not friendly. Seems like I have to worry about offending someone by coming here. ? They do have vegetarian & vegan options here, but they don't taste very great. The tofu scramble wrap was the worst I've ever had, tasted like trash. I'll just go to the Green Door next time since it's right across the street. No idea how this place stays in business.Vegetarian options: The tofu scramble wrap was the worst I've ever had, tasted like trash.Dietary restrictions: Very underwhelming vegan options might as well go somewhere else.

This is nice location, and the servers are good. I ordered ordered a tea and a tea biscuit. The tea was good, but the tea biscuit very stale. Paid $8.35 plus 15% so $9.60 in total. Could have ordered a fresh sandwich at the Subway across the street for less
