Recently moved to Ottawa and I've been struggling to find a spot to satisfy my Honey Cinnamon Matcha Latte addiction. Ventured downtown and was excited to try Happy Goat Coffee. Definitely the best matcha I've had in Ontario. The matcha was well blended so there were not any matcha chunks. My only criticism would be that the honey seemed to settle at the bottom of the drink. This is my favourite café in Ottawa. The atmosphere is really nice and the service is really good.They have open mic nights, jazz nights, and art nights, which makes for a cheap thing to do on a Friday or Saturday night. The menu is varied. They have a large tea selection, including rooibos. They are also licenced and have craft beer, cider and wine, though I'm not sure if it's only available at certain times.That the pastries are a bit lacking is the only issue.

I really like the atmosphere here. I have only tried its coffee-based drinks so far, and they were all good. Some days they also have some sort of live show with local artists. I recommend this place.
