I was really excited to try this place after hearing great reviews, but honestly, it underwhelmed completely. I tried the spicy salmon, diablo and crunch roll. Spicy salmon roll was good and tasted fresh. The diablo and crunch roll were really bad; the shrimp was chewy and the tempura was not crunchy or crispy at all. Disappointed but I guess the prices are fair atleast.
The owner was the nicest upon entry! She advised that the location is the second one in the city and is within the first couple of weeks since they opened it. She was so nice and even threw in free miso soup after we chatted about how I heard about them. The food is amazing and so worth the price!!
Hands down one of the best sushi places in all of Orleans, maybe even Ottawa!
First of all, they are consistent. We only order take-out, but since August 2022 when we stumbled across them, we have literally *never* had an incorrect order or anything less than perfect freshness. That's worth it for the price to value! We order at least once every 4 to 6 weeks and have again, NEVER had any issues!
