Really cute, homey store with good vibe and fair prices. Lots of great pasta and cheese!

Best place for an aperitivo italian style . Today I had RICOTTA montata with a Peroni.
Last week the formaggio e salumi platter and a nice glass of Verdicchio .
A taste of Italy right in the heart of Ottawa

Nicastro used to be one of the nicer deli sandwiches in town. Now you drop $11 or $12 for something so thin you could likely feed it through a paper shredder without jamming it. Avoid.

Beautiful cheese… and other stuff. Lovely local shop with an impressive selection of cheese and knowledgeable and friendly staff.

I had a charcuterie board prepared for christmas Eve . I was very disappointed in size /quantity for the price . The gentleman that brought out the tray for me seemed embarrassed to present it. First and last time for me !!

Great service, deli and sandwiches!

In addition to their amazing service and selection available every day, we recently used their catering service and the food delivered was beautifully presented, diverse in options provided and good value for money. Their staff are helpful, friendly and professional in their approach to customer service.

Good selection but compared to the Botega in the Market, there are no items on sale and everything is much more expensive. Living near by, I only buy a few things in a pinch but prefer to go to the Market to buy more things

Largest cheese selection in the city, 100% recommend. Tons of cool Italian goods and the to-go sandwich menu is unreal.

Decent quality sandwiches however this store shares an open space with a restaurant which is a seperate business. Inside the layout is extremely confusing with no signage or seperation distinguishing the two businesses.

I bought sandwiches only to then be told that I cant sit down and eat them, despite the "restaurant" portion of the inside as well as the outdoor patio being totally empty. I said I intended to buy drinks as well and if it would be OK to enjoy the sandwich I bought from the grocery part of the store which again I assumed was all one business and was told strictly no.

The entire ordeal was confusing and extremely akward. Clearly there is some sort of disagreement between the owners of these two establishments which share the same floor space. Perhaps they should find some sort of mutually beneficial relationship given they share a common space instead of making paying customers feel unwelcome. Very disappointing experience.

I will not be returning!

Went to the "I| Duo" cocktail event.
Food and drinks were top notch, the service was excellent. Sara took care of our group of 6. Owners were super friendly as well as all the staff we spoke with. Can't wait to visit again!
Highly recommend!
