I've lived in Ottawa my whole life, and I must have driven past this little restaurant hundreds of times! One of Westboro's little old brick houses that has been converted into a restaurant; lovely warm, paneled interior, with soft music. A very nice place, good quality. The food was good, and the service was very nice, I took salmon and the cooking process was perfect, my husband took the Lamb and he was happy no regrets at all ???. I recommend this place without no hesitation. ?????Dietary restrictions: You can ask the chef if you have allergies or restrictions they recommend to you what is the best.

I truly enjoyed the food at cafe mio. I ordered a gluten free vegetarian pasta and the plate was filled with high quality fresh veggies which was very impressive. I really enjoyed their approach at pasta as they do not add any heavy sauces or spices , they just stick to the basics and make it as healthy as possible. Also our waiter was delightful.
