il Primo

I visited Il Primo a couple years ago and had this review sitting in my drafts... so here we go. I was waiting to see an apartment in Little Italy, and Il Primo was conveniently located close by, so I popped in for some food. This place was great! The service and staff are wonderful. I went in there by chance when my car broke down and they were friendly and inviting. The decor is very classy and beautiful. Looks like a great place for a high class date. I would reccomend going there for sure! I hope to go there again in the future under better circumstances.

2 words - corking fee! We really enjoyed our evening at Il Primo, it is the only "no frills" eatery we've found in Little Italy and being able to bring our own wine helped us enjoy a three-course meal for an affordable price. The restaurant was full and and buzzing with happy conversation. It's a good idea to have a reservation. We will definitely be Bback!
