I was craving some Haitian food yesterday, and my husband picked up takeout from Monique's. When I tell you this hit the spot!! 😍 Everything was so flavorful and satisfying. This is officially my go-to spot whenever I'm craving Haitian food in Ottawa. Highly recommend!

Love this restaurant! I’ve only ever ordered on uber eats but it’s so so good. Food is always delicious and the portions are great. High recommend.

Monique Haitian Food offers delicious and tasty meals at a good price. The plantain and rice are fresh, and the meat and rice are so good. Customers mention the absolutely amazing food, with great portions. The pikliz and sauce for the food are impressive, and of course, the plantain! Some dishes may be substituted, like pasta salad with additional plantains. The location is convenient, although parking is through the Italian restaurant upstairs, and it can be a bit difficult to find, being in the basement of another restaurant. It is a humble location, and you have to access it from the back of the building. The food is cooked with love and reminds people of Haiti. It is a favorite Haitian food in the city, with the goat highly recommended.
