This is my new takeout spot for Haitian food! Their food is delicious and they give good portions for the price. I called to put in my order and they made sure to call me back to tell me my order is ready for pickup which I appreciated.

Monique Haitian Food offers delicious and tasty meals at a good price. The plantain and rice are fresh, and the meat and rice are so good. Customers mention the absolutely amazing food, with great portions. The pikliz and sauce for the food are impressive, and of course, the plantain! Some dishes may be substituted, like pasta salad with additional plantains. The location is convenient, although parking is through the Italian restaurant upstairs, and it can be a bit difficult to find, being in the basement of another restaurant. It is a humble location, and you have to access it from the back of the building. The food is cooked with love and reminds people of Haiti. It is a favorite Haitian food in the city, with the goat highly recommended.
