“In terms of service, It's rare to get to experience such hospitality. I don't know the name but our server was excellent with how he made sure everything was okay and we were served in the best way possible.
The place is well decorated and pleasing to the eyes.
I found the food to be good but not great. No dish in particular that I would recommend however I believe Thalis would be the one to try if you're here.

“Found this amazing, delicious, authentic Indian vegetarian restaurant on Baseline - Royal Paan. ( 1943 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C 0C7). Usually not very impressed by Indian resturent in Ottawa but this one touched my soul. Worth trying. I have tried couple of dishes and they all were amazing Pavbhaji Dosa, Stuffed Kulcha Channa, Dhai bahala and Hakka Noodles. The amount of food was way enough for me. The place was clean and very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Prices are reasonable for sure. Already went 3 times and will be going again.“

“The service was amazing, they were incredibly accommodating, clear, and helpful. They were running low on one of the ingredients of a meal, so they offered reducing the size of the meal and giving an insane discount, and it was still a large meal. They were not overbearing at all, and lovely people. The food itself was incredible, for any genre. It being vegetarian did not retract at all, and makes it super accommodating to anyone. It smelled great, tasting great, looked great, etc. Overall, one of the best Indian places there are around here, and the #1 vegetarian of that variety.

Vegetarian options: I'm not vegetarian, but I can tell you, a lot of places that are vegetarian branded make all their food worse for the sake of it, but We Desi seems like it was built on it, and it was great.“
