Food is fresh, chicken is made right in front of you. Customer service is fast and warm felt, great service. The ambiance is nice. Should definitely check it out!

First time trying Poulet Rouge (in a downtown Ottawa mall / food court) and it's a *great* concept! Reminds me of Raising Cane's but healthier (grilled chicken tenderloins, not fried) and with way more flavor (lots of different sauces to choose). Same great value for money and as fresh as it gets. Raising Cane's has higher throughput though. Line was long as this was the most popular place in the food court. Food prep can take a bit of time and there's lots of customizations in choosing veggies/accompaniments. Someone needs to bring this concept to the US!

Healthiest food in the Rideau Centre. It is very tasty. I recommend getting the small portion, the regular size is too much.

This is an interesting East/West interpretation of the classic Poutine. The concept, and it's niche within the CF Rideau's food court is excellent, it's competing with the other offerings but it still stands on its own. I take two stars off because firstly, they use a raised bowl. This makes it look like you are receiving an enormous bowl of poutine, but as soon as you sit down and dig your fork into your bowl, you are immediately hit with a massive wave of disappointment when you realize how abysmally small your order of poutine actually is. The second reason I take two stars off is because the size of the grilled chicken received in real life is pitifully inadequate when compared to the photos of the grilled chicken on their beautiful menus. If I look at my friend's order of chicken strips from elsewhere in the food court and immediately wonder why I got so little chicken in my poutine, something is clearly not right. I get that the business wants to hook your interest and rein you in for a food order, but come on, you need to think ahead towards ensuring your customers feel inclined to come order food from your business more than just once, no?
