Make sure you repeat your order a couple of times Word for Word letter for letter as you may not get what you ordered for. Got one skewer of chicken One piece of bread A small cup of onions with almost a handful of meat that looks like it was chewed up for $50+ had it for sahoor sadly from how bad the food was I couldn’t even fast the next day from how sick I got

Went for Iftar buffet , very ordinary taste unfortunately. They charging 37$ per person before tax & 25$ per kid before tax ! This is very expensive compared to other places & the taste they are offering for this price is very very ordinary! Nothing tasted up to the mark except for the chicken karahi … the beef curry was horrible … pakoras were cold .. desserts were not good at all… they served no tea even for this price !The biryani never had the chicken in it every time I went !Unfortunately not recommended & way too expensive !P.s : photo is for reference

I ordered the Malai Boti with Fries and Rice. Exactly what is on the menu, but they only gave me the chicken. The food is not good. I literally started puking after I ate. Expensive for no reason. Hopefully they fix their menu because it said with fries and rice, when I opened it just the chicken.

Went here for the ramzaan buffet, it is a lil expensive compared to other buffets but worth it! The food was delicious with lots of options, the customer service was great as well. They do have a prayer room which is perfect during ramzaan. You do have to make a reservation before hand for the buffet.Only reason it’s a 4/5 stars is because I am not a fan of their takeout combo which we had previously.

Visited this place a couple of times now, but this Ottawa branch never fails to disappoint me with their quality of food and service.Their food is not even closed to what it is supposed to be. Ordered nehari and it was like a usual korma and the lacha paratha was simply chapati with ghee. They need to up their game and stop treating their customers food who just want to waste their money! Ridiculous really!

Very disappointing experience. The worst food I have ever had. This branch is ruining the reputation of Karahi Point. I have been here twice and both times I had a horrible experience. I have tried many items from their menu and none of them are even close to what they are supposed to be. They are completely tasteless, it's a cocktail of random spices that's all.Do not fall for the 5 star reviews majority of them are fake and have a very similar pattern when observed closely. There is no way they have such a high rating and 600+ reviews in a matter of months. I have only heard bad reviews from friends and family I am yet to come across someone who actually thinks the food is good here.I am not the type of person to write bad reviews but I had to do this one because the food is really over priced and has no standard.

Having tried the Karahi Point in Toronto just the previous day, it was very easy to tell that the Charsi Karahi was quite different and wasn't as 'special'. It wasn't cooked to perfection, meat was slightly raw. Even the Behari Kabab we ordered tasted different. I understand that it's possible to have differences considering the restaurant opened recently and wouldn't have given a bad review if it wasn't for the owner not accepting our feedback. He came to our table and asked how the food was and we gave him our honest feedback. He didn't want to accept it, no apologies, no promise for improvement. Instead, he kept talking about how much he had invested in the restaurant and how well he was trained and that his cooks cannot make any mistakes. My advice to the owner: listen to your customers, learn to take constructive criticism and start being humble.

Dined in for lunch, typical Pakistani/Indian food, curry is the best.

I have been to this location of Karahi point couple of times now and I am, for the most part very pleased.Food is great however it does not match flavours of Toronto Karahi point. They need some improvement there but they are not off by a huge margin when it come to food.Atmosphere is great. There is plenty of room and the decoration on the walls does give you a welcoming feel. Also it represents Pakistan in a great way.Service needs some improvement. They brought karahi but forgot to bring in the scoop. Also, at times it felt a bit understaffed as it was hard to get the attention of the servers.Overall, I enjoyed the experience and will keep coming back. I would like to see this place improve, specially when it comes to service.Update after my visit on Iftar buffet on March 15th, 2024:They have upped their flavours to Toronto Karahi point standard. Food was delicious and service was great too. Changing my review to 5/5

The best Pakistani food in Ottawa Gatineau. Servers and owners very hospitable. Service from Ambika was very good. Lahore fried fish excellent. Food lacked salt so good for some. Naans were very filling and seekh kebabs outstanding. Green chili's can be requested to zip up food but they were not hot at all. Kulfi and infian tea was pricey but good. Ambiance good. Second visit they served seekh kebabs with tongs that were scorching hot, both friend and I got our fingers seared, servers need to pay attention.Ordered via Uber and food delivery was very fast and items were hot and ready to eat. Nut allergy so far no issues with Daal, kebab and butter chicken. This is leading to almost a 5 star ratinng. Uber order was messed up and Management did not call back to resolve, excellent place for Iftar
