Small funky resto. Expect to wait in line but I will say it is worth it. Food very good. Price is good.

The atmosphere, the staff, the food?! I can't say enough good things about this place! A must visit. A feast for the tummy and the eyes!

Extremely overpriced pokebowls which weren't good (at least in our opinion - as compared to other places in Ottawa) $80+ spent for 2 people. The tempura was hella overpriced as well (eye wateringly expensive $15 for 4... Which seemed like frozen Costco tempura that were baked).

Very good decor, atmosphere, and service.... Minus the absolutely horrible and loud chair screeching that one staff was constantly making by dragging around the chairs.

I had the pleasure of dining at Kuidaore Izakaya and it was an incredible experience! I ordered the vegan ramen and it was absolutely delicious—flavorful, rich, and satisfying in every bite. The service was 10/10, with kind and attentive staff who made the whole experience even better. The decoration and atmosphere of the restaurant were also a solid 10/10—cozy, stylish, and full of character. A must-visit for any ramen lover, especially if you're looking for great vegan options!

Miso ramen was very delicious and not salty at all. Food is prepared well and freshly made. Our server was very attentive and funny. Overall, great experience and will definitely return.

I love this place. It always reminds of Japan. The vibe and the food is above expectations. I wish if they have more options in terms of ramen for those who don’t eat pork so we can enjoy the experience more.

The food and sake tasted great, and they had several veggie options!

Good Japanese food and good flavours. Had Raman at other places and compared to that this was good. Only thing was the sushi chef was not there.

Last weekend, my friend, my daughter and I tried Japanese food for the first time at Kuidaore, and it was an unforgettable experience! The anime-inspired ambiance was vibrant and fun, making the meal even more enjoyable.

The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. From sushi to ramen, every dish was a hit! Our server was polite, attentive, and knowledgeable, helping us navigate the menu with great recommendations.

Everything was fantastic, and we’re already excited to go back. If you’re looking for great Japanese food in a unique setting, Kuidaore is a must-visit!
