“My first time here was unlike any other shawarma place I have ever been to, the guy at the counter was incredibly kind and so welcoming, he was genuinely such a nice person. I was waiting for my dog to get groomed next door so I sat down to eat inside, it got a bit busy with customers coming in and every single person that came in to order he either knew them by name or he was extremely friendly and welcoming to every single person who came inside. You do not find customer service like this anymore, it truly warmed my heart to see. The food was great, the service was incredible, highly recommend“

“The best baklava i have ever had! I didn’t even think i liked baklava that much until i had this. And you can really tell that the hummus and the tabouleh is home-made- you can tell at the first taste! Stopped in randomly and so glad i did.“

“I recently visited this shawarma restaurant and tried the shawarma platter and the boneless crispy chicken. Both were absolutely delicious! The shawarma was flavorful, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, while the platter came with generous portions that made it very satisfying. The boneless crispy chicken was crunchy on the outside, tender inside, and full of flavor. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. “i had 2 junior bowl and kafta combo ,
Honestly i wasn’t expecting that from boustan but they just changed my thoughts about them yesterday.
They have a good customer service and best part is they doesn’t charge you for some stuffs which other restaurants would charge you .they will not say no to you but will let you know gently that it was extra but we are giving you ,so you can let us know next time before you pay
And food were good specially the amount of meat they give it’s fine to be honest ,compared to other places.
And you can hangout with friends here or can bring your family .
I will come again next week for sure“

“First time placing take out order at Athens Grill this evening. I forgot to ask the women's name who served me. She was awesome, accommodated me for all my needs & even packed my salads separately due to long travel out of town. Both chicken souvlaki & Schwarma chicken were very flavourful. Chicken was better then most bigger name greek houses. Everything was fresh & tasty. Highly recommend as this will now be my go to place for Greek & Lebanese. “Tried Lebanese Village Bakery for the first time and I was blown away! The variety of pies is incredible, something for everyone, but the meat and cheese options truly stand out. Their Chicken & Cheese and Sojouk pies are hands-down the best I’ve had in the city. The service was friendly, fast, and made the whole experience even better. “We’ve been many times at Shawarma Palace Carling Av. The food is truly excellent, fresh, tasty, and generous portions. However, the setting feels a bit plain, with very basic furniture and more of a canteen vibe than a restaurant. The service could also be warmer; a friendlier welcome at the counter (the cashier girl) would really improve the experience.“

“A great place to grab a delicious shawarma. I’ve ordered a chicken shawarma combo that came with a small plate of garlic potatoes and a can of soda. The shawarma was very good, packed to the brim with chicken, veggies, and a great sauce. The place was very clean and mainly empty. The service was good.“

My partner ordered the falafel which he found delicious, it was super crispy on the outside and flavorful. The service was stellar and we loved the decor as well. “Such a little hidden gem. The food is good and there is something on the menu for everyone. We tried their Donair Sub And meatball sub which were both fantastic. Based on the marinara sauce and the meatball sub, I bet their spaghetti is really good. The owners are very lovely And the prices are fair.“

The small shawarma was packed and the chicken was moist! Definitely different from other places taste wise and was great.

“I’ve been to many different shawarma places in my life, but this place has to be my new favourite. 10/10 chicken shawarma wraps, best flavour, loaded up with lots of sauce, toppings, and meat, super good! Definitely recommend! Prices are also super reasonable“

“The Fattoush is amazing but unfortunately since our return to work the portions for the fattoush salad are much smaller and for the price of almost $15 it’s difficult to justify. Prior to the pandemic the fattoush portion used to be worth while. I know prices are climbing in everything but dissapointed in the portion size.“

“The shop has a lot of 90s charm with lots of parking and inside seating. We ordered two chicken shawarmas and a beef donair shawarma.

Reading the reviews after the fact, I'm unsure what to think...my meat was heated up in a pan on the stove and not the microwave. The gentleman behind the counter used gloves to touch the veggies. We didn't get sick and it was all very tasty! The location was a bonus as it was close to the Ingenium.
