Lil Z’s is a nice casual spot for a good pizza one of the few places in Ottawa that gets pizza right and has a nice vibe. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Today especially Eva was amazing! So lovely, very friendly and chatty and couldn’t have been more helpful and speedy with everything we needed.

I came in with a group and we waited over 10 minutes with zero acknowledgment from staff. Two cooks looked directly at us when we walked in but didn’t greet, seat, all they said was “wow”. No effort was made to provide service, so we ended up walking out.
It’s disappointing because first impressions matter — a simple “we’ll be right with you” goes a long way. If the team can’t manage basic acknowledgment of customers, it doesn’t inspire confidence in the rest of the experience. Avoid this place it also smelled bad for some reason.

Thank you Evalyn for your kindness! The food was great. They don't have a kid menu but can do smaller portion from the adult dishes so I guess it's ok for kids. Also it's a bit dark inside but we got used to it so it's ok.

Arrived with the family and immediately got a table. Waited about 55mins for the food to come which I felt was a bit too long as the place wasn’t too good busy. Had some mix up with our dips but all sorted out easily. Overall the pizza was good and wasn’t too bad.

One of the best pizza joints in the city!! Visiting from Toronto and got hooked on awesome pizza at Frankie’s in Montreal so decided to give this spot a try and wasn’t disappointed! Got the meat lovers for the adults and the cheese pizza for the kids and it was so good the kids ate it all up! The crust was perfect and the pizza sauce was to die for! Highly recommended and will definitely be returning next time we’re in Ottawa.
