“We spent a very enjoyable evening at the Manor Lounge. First we escaped from Death Row. Great fun! Then we had an amazing dinner followed by darts and shuffleboard. There were lots of other cool games there as well. We will definitely have to go back. The new Manor Lounge location is simply packed with atmosphere and fun!“

“We received a gift card from a family member for $100 USD as a Christmas Present and were excited about enjoying a meal at this restaurant. The gift card was purchased directly from Joey's, not a 3rd party. We went and everything initially about the restaurant was very enjoyable. The food was very good, the service was attentive and we enjoyed our experience until the cheque arrived. When we we presented the gift card (electronically) our server went to speak with a ⁶manager and then returned to inform us that the $100 USD would be honoured in Canadian dollars. $100 USD is worth $144.50 Canadian dollars according to google when checked today. We paid the bill and tipped the service team 22% and left after effectively having $44.50 taken from us and our family member in what felt like to us, theft by conversion. The manager in question did not come to follow up after our expressing our disappointment JOEY's is already a very expensive restaurant. Further, the gift card information indicates that Joey's has US based restaurants. I'm quite sure that Canadian dollar gift cards are not accepted at par in the US. This ruined for us, what was otherwise a positive experience, through what felt like to us, an act of corporate greed and impersonal profiteering. After this experience we will not be back and sadly, I cannot recommend JOEY's as a place for anyone else to dine at. Any company that sells a gift card directly and then fails to deliver full value is patently dishonest, in my opinion.“

“Bianca was our server and she was AMAZING. Her energy was fantastic and positively contributed to our night. She offered to take lots of pictures of us and was very attentive and kind. She was also very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to make us a drink just from a picture we showed. Overall positive experience thank you Bianca!!“

“First time I use maple leaf loung. I had a very big expectation, the only thing that disappointed me was the food. Not to mutch choose, only small rap, salade, soup and peices of tukey with any gravy. Very dry. Big comfy chairs, a lot of alcool. Should be great to upgrade and add some longer seats so we can extend the leg. The bathroom and open spaces were clean. On general, i liked it !!!“

“Visited while on a trip to Ottawa, so glad we did. Staff are super friendly and accommodating, lots of games to choose from (although we brought our own from a recent purchase at Imaginaire and they charge you less if you bring your own games so, bonus!). We didn't have any food but the cappucino I had was fabulous (and a great portion size). The nerd trivia upstairs on Monday seemed fun, although not our topic (Star Trek not being either of our forte). This is a great place, highly recommended.“

We went because the the craft beer selection was diverse and different from the norm. We were pleasantly surprised that food offerings. We live in Orleans but we will make the effort to come back because we enjoyed ourselves so much our cheeks hurt!“

Went to Zoe’s couple of times and our server: Jacynthe, she is always amazing. She recognized us and gave us a big smile with the warmest tailored service.

My friend and I spent quite a long time at the newly renovated restaurant. And food is very tasty, dessert is the best in Ottawa, nice cocktails.

“The evening was amazing. Service was very great with a very lovely server who explained the menu inside and out for us. She was a very seasoned server who knew the menu. The platter we shared was by far one of the Best Mediterranean platters even. Servings were plentiful and everything was absolutely delicious. We'll be back for sure. Bravo EVOO!“
