This is our second trip up to Ottawa and a stop into the brewery is a must. We pop in for drinks and always have a wonderful time. This trip up Jason took car of us both days. Great guy! —extremely attentive and super nice.

The guy working the bar today had an absolute terrible energy and gave me and my wife the worst experience. What a great day to ruin our positive energy with your negative attitude. The Cesar's he made us where made like he didn't care about his job or just was not trained effectively. He also greeted us like we're where idiots and said you could have just sat down quite rudely. Other than that the place is beautiful and I love the atmosphere othere than the male worker today with the flower tattoo sleeve.

Absolutely abysmal service. Took forever to get a drink and over an hour for a plate of nachos, which were served cold. The waitress obviously forgot to put in our order and gave us attitude when we asked about our order. No excuse for the poor service as the place was pretty much empty. Avoid

I had a few pint here. The Hazy IPA was really delicious. The stout was very satisfying. The barkeep exceeded expectations. I did not have any food. I would not hesitate to return on my next trip Ottawa.
I highly recommend this place. My wife and I had lunch there Wed. Nov. 12 (2025). Food was delicious and they have a good selection of locally crafted beers. The staff is beyond excellent. We had the pleasure of meeting Ryan, who made us feel right at home. Friendly, knowledgeable and went out of his way to make us welcome. He even gave us a tour of the downstairs and a little history of the brewery. His level of professionalism and dedication made me ask if he was the owner. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town.

Lauren was an amazing server. We loved her vibe and the attention she gave to our entire table. What a fan experience in the pub watching a game. An excellent vibe with an outstanding atmosphere. I highly recommend coming back to this fantastic venue! So I took my advice and came back to the pub. A Sunday night was another superb experience with complete personalized service. Dimitra, the supervisor was welcoming and greeted us as if we were regulars. She also shared some historical information with us since we are tourists. Lauren, our previous waitress also took the time to chat and make us feel welcomed and recognized. I would highly recommend Lowertown as a destination in Ottawa.

We had an amazing time here and our server Lauren was so good. She looked after us so well on a very busy night, (the Blue Jays were playing). We had such a good experience that we went back the next night after checking out a few other local bars and again had an amazing experience.
