The manager Wendy got to be best in all the years I been coming to McDonald's, she has ask me if I wanted white or chocolate milk nobody ever ask me that ask me if I wanted extra hash brown , she was extremely nice all her staff is really nice , place is really clean ! We need more Wendy

*safety issue concern* I have been coming to this location for about 5 years and haven’t had many issues and when they have arrived it’s been fixed right away. However a serious matter happened in the drive thru recently which has made me decide to go to another location.
I arrived in the drive thru on Sunday afternoon around 3pm and it was busy and they were slow. This happens from time to time. I was waiting patiently when someone from behind started honking on their horns constantly. I put my head out the window and asked them to stop. It won’t make the crew inside work any faster. I was then yelled at and put down and it made them honk more and more people stared honking. This type of behaviour is absurd and very disrespectful. It continues from where you take your order and up to where you get your food. I apologized at the first window where you pay and instead I was told he’s a regular. Wow is what I thought…..what an excuse. I am regular and visit this location sometimes multiple times a week. So he’s more important than any other person in the drive thru? Now this is a safety issue….what if someone in the drive thru had major PTSD? Or in my condition a child with disabilities that has a sensory issue. I am appalled that a family fast food restaurant would take chances with people’s safety in their drive thru. We live in the worst area in Ottawa. We have the most stabbings and shootings. Why would I chance mine of my son’s safety by going thru a drive thru where people can act the way they want. Instead I’ll go to another location that will value proper etiquette and help make their location safe. It’s common sense how to behave in a drive thru.

Previously, I have had issues with the food not being consistent at this location. However having had a conversation about this with manager Wendy recently, this has improved ten fold. Thank you Wendy for improving my experience at this location, you’re fantastic!

Honestly speaking the drive thru now takes longer than it ever had before. The communication to order is an experience where you have to repeatedly yell and correct all the things that you never said but the speaker finally stops saying random menu items not even remotely close to the words your words. Ok great progress made and communication of order complete and its a success. we are now on our wait to make it to made the window to pay and absolutely no issues here at this step to take your money so easy how do they do it? (Lol)And then just wait we are not through the crap shoot yet what's going to take place in the last steps is most likely going to be that after a 15 min wait you make it to the pick up window only to be given a drink for the meal and asked to go park in one the the numbers spots to be served the important items the actual meal. But it gets better.. after another 10 min or so a mcdonalds employee hands you the bag with your meal and you ask if the sweet and sour sauces are inside the bag? (You paid extra for them) and you just want to make sure because heck you have been lied to before. And you just might be convinced at this point it has to be deliberate to not add give the sauces. And without skipping a beat the employee confidently affirms yes they are in there and off they go. You now open your bag to find out you have been bamboozled again and just to make your meal even better they forget the medium fry and all you got was a shitty paper straw and the 6 nuggets. So you now are left with 3 options. Option 1 get back in the drive thru and wait all over and let the nuggets get cold. Option 2 run in just to wait in another line or Option 3 screw it cut your losses and go home defeated. Fun times.
I ordered mc spicy habanero but I got junior chicken instead of that...

Renovated the place, seems like less seating area. Service was great very pleasant. Brought us are food. But the tray they brought it on was dirty and all sticky. May be awhile before I return to this McDonald's.
