Hosted a dinner for 16 and we were not disappointed. Dealing with Tony the owner was a pleasure. Preselected menu with many options to satisfy everyone. The manager Carol welcomed us like family. Christine was an Amazing bartender. Sara and Mike excellent wait staff. The food was authentic Italian with large portions. Will definitely be back when next in Ottawa. A great place!!

love the food it’s was my first time here and it’s was soooo delicious I tried a lobster with shrimp pasta and for dessert a strawberry cheesecake and a coconut drink without alcohol everything was perfect and the server who helped me Mike was so sweet, kind and really helpful. I love the experience I recommend it❤️

Was recently there for a special occasion. The ambience is fantastic. The service well beyond expectations and the food is far and away some of the best Italian fare we have had, even when we were in Italy. You eat with your eyes as much as your tastes and both were more than fulfilled. Service could not have been better. The owner went about the tables and made everyone welcome and very comfortable. I cannot recommend Mezzanote any higher.

We were really disappointed by the way the person who welcomed us explained the dishes, because originally we had mentioned a risotto for a price of 59.95 dollars for 2 people (dish which is on the menu just above the Seafood Platter for 2 with the words "Market Price". However, the waiter did not tell us the market price which was not indicated on the menu. We had the unpleasant surprise when he brought us the bill since the price of the dish was charged at 300 dollars. Total for 1 bottle of Californian white wine at 66 dollars + the Seafood Platter we paid 467.35 dollars with 13% tip for 2 people only. Really excessive price and rather fraudulent commercial approach. We will never return to this restaurant.
