I've lived in the area for years and have always loved the food here! Great portion sizes, super quality, and the authenticity can't be beat. The renovations look fantastic as well, very minimalist and inviting atmosphere! Plus the new cocktails pair well with the menu, which I'm glad they've kept pretty much the same 😊 Staff is knowledgeable and friendly as well 🙏🏻

The sashimi platter we received is significantly different from the one shown in the Uber Eats photo (see attached image). Additionally, the description stated that a portion of rice in a separate box was included, but it was missing from our order. We reached out to support, but they did not respond to our complaint regarding the discrepancy between the order and its description.

The food is amazing, and the service is always super friendly. Me and my boyfriend have gone multiple times and plan on going many more. The avocado with spicy salmon is to die for, would recommend! Have never had such great sushi, this is our go to spot for date nights or just for eating out.

One of the best sushi places in town. I like the westboro roll and the one made with soft shell crab. Sashimi are very fresh and savoury, pairing well with the warm sake. The restaurant is spacious and well decorated. We were treated warmly by the staffs. Will definitely come back in the future.

I highly recommend their sushi and sashimi! The tempura shrimp is very juicy. MHK is the best Japanese restaurant I’ve tried in Ottawa! The ingredients are very fresh, and the service and atmosphere are excellent. I will definitely come back next time.

Wonderful fresh sushi and poke bowls. And they now have black sesame ice cream, which pairs nicely with the mango ice cream since you get two scoops. The seaweed salad is big enough to scare, and the MHK trio maki platter is perfect.
