Mia's Indian Cuisine-St.Laurent

We ordered from this place through Uber Eats based on the reviews we saw online. However, we were a really let down with the paratha, which was drenched in oil, and the naan wasn’t very good either.

The Chana masala had a tangy flavour, almost like citrus. I couldn’t quite put my finger on the slight weird taste in the cucumber salad (maybe it was the spice?). The chicken was also a bit dry. It took a while to get our order, even though we were quite close. I wouldn’t order from them again.

This is hands down our favourite neighbourhood restaurant for a special delivery dinner. The service is exceptionally kind and professional, and the food is really delicious. We love the lamb rogan josh, any of the vegetarian dishes, and the appetizer platters are yummy and a great value. You can't go wrong with any of the curries; we've been opting for medium spice levels, but I think most people could handle the hot. A special shout-out to Musharraf, who clearly values his customers.

First and last time ordering from this restaurant.
We spent over $100 on food and absolutely nothing was good, not even barely edible. The butter chicken and the masala were watery, bland, and completely flavorless. Honestly, it was disgusting. As for the “cheese naan,” see the photo for yourself, it was just naan with a layer of orange cheese melted on top. That’s not real cheese naan.
It’s truly a shame to ruin such a rich and flavorful cuisine by completely stripping it of its authenticity. At that price, the bare minimum should be quality.

AMAZING!! We tried the butter chicken, paratha, garlic naan, chicken biriyani, and vegetables samosas!! ALL SOOOO YUMMY :) the food was quality and simply tasted delicious!! We ordered takeout, while waiting for our food we noticed the other dishes other customers were enjoying and they also looked amazing :) the server who handed us our food was so nice and welcoming!! Went for dinner at Mia’s after reading all the great reviews of the place.

We asked for the vegetarian Thali for two that they serve online and they gave us a different curry that we asked to change.

The service was great, a comfortable restaurant but we were a bit put off by the Eggplant Bartha.

I liked the appetizers of samosas, popadons and onion bhajis and the rice pudding hit the spot.

Love this restaurant so much. The food is excellent. Some of the best curry you'll ever come across. The staff and family that run the shop, cook the food and take such wonderful care of their guest are absolutely top notch.

Reviews for this restaurant seem to fall into two extremes - food is delicious or food is bland. My family is in “Camp Bland”. It’s odd but we’ve never had such bland Indian food before. The matar paneer had no taste. The taste of the butter chicken was very muted too. The Chana masala, naan and onion bhaji were ok, hence the two stars. The 4.6 rating on Google is puzzling.

Awesome food. Moved here not long ago and walked by their restaurant and decided to try it. Im glad i did as it was wonderful.
