Love this place for the people as much as the food! Take a minute and speak to them and you will find what makes this more then just a pizza place. All food my family has eaten was awesome! Licensed for drinks if staying to eat and plenty of seating which was a nice surprise.

Dear Management,
I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with the unacceptable experience I had with Milano Pizzeria today through an Uber Eats order.
Earlier today, I placed a dinner order for my family using the Uber Eats app. After completing the purchase, I noticed that the prices charged through the app were significantly higher than the prices listed directly by your restaurant.
I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with the manager, who acknowledged that she had noticed the pricing discrepancy herself when the order came through. She offered a $5 discount for the inconvenience. However, I explained that the difference in price was far greater than five dollars, and that this issue was not acceptable.
The manager then advised me to contact Uber Eats, stating they would resolve the matter. When I contacted Uber Eats customer service, I was informed that pricing is set by the restaurant and that I needed to work directly with the merchant to correct the issue.
I called Milano Pizzeria again to explain what Uber had advised. At this point, the staff member I spoke with was extremely rude, dismissive, and unwilling to listen. Despite openly admitting that the pricing issue existed, she refused to offer any meaningful resolution beyond the original $5 discount.
What is most unacceptable is that the restaurant ultimately did not deliver the food I paid for, and no refund was provided. As a result, I was left without the dinner I ordered and out the full amount of money paid.
This experience has left me feeling as though I was taken advantage of. I also note that similar complaints regarding incorrect pricing have been raised in other customer reviews, suggesting this is not an isolated incident.
When I explained that it is unacceptable to take payment without delivering the food, I stated that I would escalate the issue to a third party for resolution. The response I received was that the staff member “didn’t care” and that I should “do whatever I want.”
This level of customer service and business conduct is completely unacceptable.
I am requesting the following:
1. A full refund for the undelivered order
2. A written explanation of how this pricing discrepancy occurred
3. Assurance that this issue will be corrected to prevent future customers from experiencing the same problem.

After making me text a photo to her personal cell phone, she reluctantly offered a store credit for the pre-tax amount of the single contaminated pizza if I came into the store to collect.
I politely explained that I wouldn’t be ordering from them again as I do not live in the area, and asked if they could simply refund the item instead. She claimed she would “see” what she could do, but it is now the following day and she did not respond or follow up.
Mistakes happen — I understand that. But how a business handles those mistakes matters. A basic effort at customer service could have resolved this easily. Instead, I was left feeling dismissed and rattled by her hostility. Hiring a manager who is properly trained on how to speak to the public would do wonders for this business.
If you choose to order here, just be aware that if something goes wrong, they may not make much effort to properly resolve it.

I placed an order with Milano’s on River Rd (Manotick) for delivery to the Manotick arena today for lunch for a group holding a meeting at the venue. When I called last evening to place my order in advance, the individual who took my call went above and beyond to make sure my order was exactly what I needed for the group lunch and made a point of expressing appreciation for my business. Fast forward to lunch time today, the order was delivered on time and by the friendliest, kindest and most helpful gentlemen who also thanked me for ordering from their business. On top of that, the pizzas, chicken and salads were fresh and delicious. Excellent customer service, great food. I will definitely order again!

We stopped here for lunch recently. My husband had pizza and I had a chicken shawarma platter. The food was fresh and delicious, large portions and the prices are very reasonable. The hospitality was amazing. The owners genuinely care about the quality of their service and it really shows. We will definitely be going back. Highly recommend.

Milano Pizza in Manotick is truly a hidden gem! The customer service here is outstanding — the manager and the entire team go above and beyond to make every visit enjoyable. Alison was especially wonderful; friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
They also have plenty of seating, with cozy and lovely areas that make it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your meal.
If you're looking for something a little different, their pizza is a must-try. The flavors are fantastic, and if you want to take it to the next level, ask for their garlic sauce — it’s absolutely delicious! And don’t leave without trying one of their desserts. They serve a very tasty sweet treat that perfectly finishes the meal.

We ordered a large Milanos favorite pizza a few days ago. We must say it was the worse pizza we ever had. Not only was it cold, but it was soggy, the cheese didn't look like real cheese but rubber (which is scarry), and the taste was aweful.
Also, on the brochure we have it says $26.75 for a large, however the price we paid was $40 which is absurd !
These things really need to be addressed. Our family won't be ordering from there again.
