This has been my FAVOURITE pizza place since moving to Ottawa. The owner Moe is truly the sweetest and the food he serves is just absolutely amazing.

Not the dirtiest or dumpiest of dives, but we wish we had noticed the fruit flies floating in the vinegar before we put it on our fries.
There are cooks chewing gum and eating on the line and toilet brushes and plungers laying out in the bathroom.
With the lotto ticket/coffee-to-go counter and the various images of Elivis and old newpaper clippings, it is sort of like eating at an old truck-stop diner.
It would have been fine and charming if our experience wasn't quite so gross.

Breakfast was great and I was told to go back and try their pizza. Stay tuned....

A legendary destination in Ottawa and home to the wonderfully absurd Elivis Lives Society. Food is a cut above average, but it's the amazing memorabilia and celebrity clientele that makes it special.

Visited Friday evening on the patio for the 1st day of summer.
Food was great, however the service was abysmal. Took 30 minutes to get the drinks we ordered and food seemed to take another 30 minutes after that. Requests for certain toppings to be removed were acknowledged but then ignored. Food is good but I left unhappy due to the slow service.

Seen this restaurant so many times over the years taking the bus to Tunney's Pasture. Finally had a chance to try it for father's day and wasn't disappointed. Great service, amazing food (it really is world famous pizza) and wonderful atmosphere. Will definitely keep coming back!

We had the flatbread pizza topped with fresh arugula, prosciutto, and juicy tomatoes — every bite was light, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. We also indulged in the meat lovers pizza, which was loaded with delicious, high-quality meats and had that satisfying, hearty bite you want from a classic pizza.

Beyond the great food, the atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are genuinely friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re part of the community the moment you walk in.

Highly recommend Moes Famous Newport Pizzeria for anyone looking for incredible pizza and that cozy, long-standing Ottawa charm. We’ll definitely be back!
