Moe's World Famous Newport Restaurant & Donna’s Express

Have not been their in a long time. Me and my fiance went there to eat inside.

-felt very rushed to pick food from menu. Even though we just sat down and got the menu.

-waitress said special today was just 19$. But we saw the poster it said special was 29.95 why lie?.

-service was very slow everyone was waiting for food and to talk to waitress. And it wasn't that packed.

- when i got my pizza. It was very greasy and I had to cut it with a knife and fork. I could not even pick it up with two hands everything fell off it. And it was still doughy.

- my fiance got her spinach dip. All she got was 5 chips for her dip and it was very crunchy and hard. And she had to just eat the dip like soup with a spoon.

-when we were leaving and told the waitress our problem with the food. All she said was "oh next time you come back I'll fix it for you". they should fix it on the spot not. next time. I don't think I'm ever coming back.

-food is very pricey here. Everytime we go the prices are increased all the time by 3 or 2$ more. And yet the service is very slow and food quality had gone down.

Edit. Yes service was slow. Everyone was waiting forever for their food . And it wasn't packed in restaurant. As soon as we sat down the waitress right away rushed us and said what do we want to have. Without letting us time to order and think what we want.

Well response to ur spinach dip i can tell you it is not served with two hole naan bread i have photos of it. It tasted and looked like burned dried up chips and were sharp to eat.

Response about haven't been in restaurant along time. Yes we only go once in a while. Because everytime we come in you raise the priced 3 or 2 dollars. I know this because I have old recipts/bank statements online i can see showing how much it used to cost compared to price hike. And how little you get portions and customer service sucks. Also your website prices are way off then ur in restaurant menu prices need to change that.

And I disagree your pizza quality is not the same. It is very greasy now hard to pick up the pizza everything falls off the pizza. No taste from pizza just straight grease taste. Very doughy too had to cut it with a knife and fork when I was their. And it was still doughy.

You would think good customer service after I told the waitress she would tell the chef and get it fixed and sorted right away but no she didn't all she said was next time. Well if you make a bad taste in a customer mouth they aren't going to come back.

-the waitress said the exact special in the front of the restaurant was 19$. But it was 29.95$ and we overheard someone else too ordering special too and she said it was 19$ to them Aswell. But front poster said 29.95$. If it isn't the front poster price in the front the restaurant you should move it away from costumers eyes. Because that is false advertising.

- also everytime I called it's like when they pick up the phone they are always mad or dont want to talk to customers just rush them off the phone.

-also whenever you are paying ur bill the waitress or anyone that's handing you the machine to pay ur bill. Stares then when it's paid stares at recipt to see if you tiped them. And if you did they will be really happy to see you next time. But if they saw on recipt you didn't tip them then they will ask what could they have done better lol. Man tipping culture gone crazy.

Waitress excellent, pizza fantastic as always.

Parking: Maybe later closing hours for holiday season. To get there after work, with heavy traffic etc, only gave us 1.5 hours for a meal and birthday. So we kept Reena there a bit late. She was totally awesome about it though

Went looking for the Newport at its old location only to discover it had moved years ago. It had been awhile since I had visited, it turns out.

Was mid afternoon and atmosphere was friendly and relaxed.

Had a small combination pizza and it was as good as I remembered. Excellent, in fact.

Absolutely amazing food. I love the pizza but was told about the Lebanese plate as the special. It was a combination of some of the best food I’ve ever tasted. The chicken was the best tasting chicken I’ve ever had. The waitress was so welcoming and sweet. Would 100% recommend.

I was told this place has good pizza, but mine sure wasn't. It kind of made me sick and reminded me of those gross supermarket pizzas. Too each their own, but this does not win my endorsement. (It's also expensive)
