I’ve been coming to this restaurant since the very early 2000’s, I’ve also tried every other shawarma place in Ottawa, as well as many in other towns, and in my opinion this is by far the best shawarma I’ve ever had, and have been coming here ever since. To the point I now get recognized by staff and thanked for coming. I no longer go anywhere else now for shawarma. Don’t fix what’s not broken, and this is the best in Ottawa hands down.

If you want to be able to go to work in the morning I recommend to go eat elsewhere. My boyfriend ordered a large sandwich combo of 2 with the garlic potatoes on the side and got food poisoning the next morning, he had to call off work. So I definitely do not recommend this place if you guys want to eat at a Shawarma unless you want to be stuck with food poisoning. Side effects were hurt stomach, puking and throat very much in pain.

Shining points after several visits.1. Staffs there hardly greet first and always stare at customers and wait for cuatomers to say hi. Lmao, IDK, who spoil these people, as their food is just so so.2. Just buying a small sandwich will get u forever... although no more than 2 persons in line. The staffs look very busy, but u never know what they are busy at...3. Last funny point, the staffs and managers always have pet phrase like "hey, bluh bluh, my friend". Lol, got u, point 1 and 2 are the way they treat their friends : )

The best shawarma in Ottawa by far. None that I’ve tried come close. Amazing customer service and the staff is very kind and friendly. The food is amazing with unique flavours. Mr. Shawarma takes shawarma to a different level by providing their own unique flavours and everything is very fresh. It’s a must try it out shawarma restaurant. 10/10
