We literally wish this place was open, but they’ve been closed for over 6 months. The kicker is the fact that they continue to post their hours of operation as if they actually are open, and post ads in the local flyers. What is going on with this place???
EXTREMELY rude staff. And awful atmosphere. Friends went to have some fun at karaoke, we had A drink elsewhere and were then told we could not come in. I would understand if we had clearly had too much alcohol however that was not the case. Completely unwarranted, I am not shocked that it is always empty. Not even just us being rejected was unwarranted but the questions we were receiving from the waitress made us feel VERY uncomfortable. Did not get the waitresses name, but find karaoke elsewhere I can guarantee they will be more accommodating:)
This was the worst experiences I and my friends have had. I got purposely overly charged and then they were forcing me to pay it. The waitress was extremely mean, hostile and unprofessional. Dont come
Sunday great roast beef
Well I frequent this area a lot because my sons school is here but I don’t live incredibly close. I have some stomach issues and was turned away from using their bathroom. I’ll never eat here if they can’t accommodate the odd bathroom use. It’s shameful actually that you would rather let somebody suffer than to use your bathroom.

I have been a big fan of the O’Brien’s restaurant & tavern on Heron road for years and it is awesome to see O’Brien’s Corner on Kilborn open again after a long time closed during Covid. The Corner restaurant has the same great tasting food, great service staff and the outdoor deck is very nice and cosy. I recommend others to come here and support local businesses. If you like my reviews, videos or photos then turn the Corner and like it.
Call ahead, we just walked here for lunch on a sunny summer Friday and they are closed. Will update review next time I visit but I will call first!
Awesome food
The place just reopened on May 4, 2022 after being closed for a few months. Great place located in the middle of the quiet Alta Vista neighborhood. Serving a variety of pub style eats. The food and drinks are priced cheaper than other places; 5$ beers are a rare find nowadays. Patio seats available.
A great neighbourhood corner. Lovely service and good food. O'Brien's has been a favourite for my family the last couple of years.

Awesome food
Finally a good pub within walking distance of my house, this place has great food, great prices and a great atmosphere. Very nice patio and it's good to come in for a Guinness as they have it on tap. Specifically the wings, shawarma platter, and the fish and chips are amazing, they're all a good deal for how much you get and the food is still so good.
Great little neighborhood pub for drinks and food.
A friend and I stopped in at O' Brian's on Fri. for the first time. Not being from the immediate area, we weren't familiar with it (my son, who's girlfriend lives nearby recommended it). We will definitely be back: good food and wonderful service!??itbut we'll definitely be back
Quickly, order the pizza! It is the striking thing about this corner pub. This neighbourhood mainstay is where the townies in Alta Vista meet. A parking lot patio made of wood, a decent beer selection, and all the usual pub food. Families and friends come here.
