Staff is what makes this place great. They work very hard and are very consistent, although sometimes understaffed.

Very slow service. Took me 20 minutes to get my items while a second employee was on the back not helping. I miss the old staff. They were really attentive and friendly. There’s something missing ever since the switch to corporate and the quality has gone down. Fries are no longer too hot to eat when you first get them.

I had so many high hopes. Vegan food has so many good new meat replacement products. But, not at that place. The salad is dry, like eating grass. The burger was certainly not tasting like a burger, or anything similar to it in any way. The restaurant looks so good! Looks are deceiving.

Look, I don't know how else to say this. The food was trash. I'm recently learning I'm either extremely gluten sensitive or celiac, and I figured I'd try this place out with a friend who is a vegetarian.
The gluten free bun is sugary and sweet, almost cloying. The gluten free chickpea patty is mush, with no texture. It's under seasoned. The burger is then served over-sauced to make up for the dry patty and dry bun. I was upcharged nearly 25% to get gluten-free options, which feels a bit crappy when the whole vibe is about eating around dietary restrictions. The entire process seems to just be indifferent to the ideas of salt and pepper.
This was garbage. I want options for people with dietary restrictions. I don't want options for them (me) that are terrible. My dining partner was appalled at her 'burger' that didn't accommodate gluten-free, and I was just sad and $30 poorer eating a weirdly sweet, mushy, textureless, underseasoned 'burger'. I hesitate to call it a burger, it had nothing going for it.

Absolutely love it. It's a must for me everytime I come back into Ottawa. I haven't tried anything on their menu i didn't like.
My go too is the nuggets with fake honey, and the fries supreme.

They missed the fry in our order. They could not refund our order after trying 5 times. Never going back again.

Honestly obsessed with the ChickUn Burger dressed like a Famous. It’s so crunchy and saucy and delicious. Great to have fun veggie/vegan options in the city!

Delicious! And I'm a meat eater! Their smash burger party was more juicy and more flavourful than most meat burgers I've had lately. The hash browns were crispy, and the chocolate shake had tons of chocolate in it. Wonderfully rich! The place was clean. We enjoyed the digital menu since you can customize everything to your liking.

Service was great and employees were very friendly, but the food was pretty terrible. Sizable portions but the burger itself was flavorless with an odd texture and consistency. Service 4 stars as I’m pretty sure they gave me a chickpea burger, and got my two orders mismatched. The house sauce was also not great. Wouldn’t eat here again.

Amazing vegan smash burgers
Walked in at 11:15, 15 minutes after opening, and watched the staff walk by 3 times and ignore us. Guess they don't need my money. Odd indeed.
