I’ve been a long-time customer and normally enjoy the food here, which makes this experience especially disappointing. My wife and I ordered lunch recently (chicken pitas and dessert), and the food was noticeably off — the chicken was dry and unpleasant, and the hummus tasted odd. It was unlike anything we’ve had from this location before.
I called the restaurant to resolve the issue directly, not to leave a negative review. Unfortunately, the person who answered — who identified himself as the chef — responded defensively instead of listening. He insisted the food couldn't possibly be the problem and made the conversation uncomfortable.
He later asked me to email photos and comments. I did so, hoping for a constructive resolution, but the reply I received was again dismissive and suggested the issue was basically my taste or imagination. I was offered a $15 gift card, but after the tone of both interactions, I don’t feel comfortable returning just to redeem it.
It’s disappointing when customer feedback is met with defensiveness instead of accountability. I hope the restaurant takes this as an opportunity to improve how concerns are handled, because we’ve genuinely enjoyed their food in the past.

We were so excited to try this restaurant as we were new to the area. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the experience we had. I had placed a large order for pick up with a lot of notice and communication but it was not ready when we arrived so we were left waiting, which I understand becuade they were a bit busy but with such warning would've liked to have it made in advance. As someone who works with food it was also very alarming the way they handled the food. Both people working wore no gloves and didn't wash their hands the entire time we were there. With that they also touched their faces, nose area, and hair then proceeded to use those unwashed hands to touch our food. When we got it all home there were items missing and many bowls were cold. Overall very disappointed.

I love this place, I've been going since they opened and the staff is always so friendly. The cooks blow me away everytime. Usually I get the same thing but they make it taste like the first time, everytime. And the location is right in riocan so it's so easy to get to.

I got a chicken souvlaki wrap but it didn't really have much flavour. The chicken looked like it was simply boiled in water and did not have any seasoning on it. The staff were quite friendly though and the place was clean.

for a bowl , with 3 scoops of rice , sprinkle of veggies, even worse with the meat. Should have just walked out, no wonder i was the only customer in there at lunch time.

So I just left this location and I have to take a second to thank the young lady Sage who works there. My Son has special needs and he had ordered a Greek salad but when he took a bite he didn't like it. I brought the Bowl back and explained that he didn't like it because of the cheese( feta) and Tahini in it. And if they could replace it for him. The other woman she works with informed me that I would have to pay again for another bowl...which I was not willing to do.
Without hesitation Sage took it back and made me a new one. It's people like this is in the service industry that keep customers coming back.
Well Done Sage. People like me appreciate people like you. I really hope her boss sees this and praises her.
Lots of toppings to pick from...the lamb meatballs are delicious !!! There are other meats aswell, and different sauces. If you like spicy the harrisa sauce and vinaigrette are delicious !!! Also, you can build your own bowl, pick from three toppings and 2 sauces to go with your meal !!!

Id give it a 5 . Been going there since its opened. But this is now the 2nd time I order double meat. And get hardly any. You charge 5.49 for extra meat on uber app. Honor it

Our entire familys favourite spot for a meal! The table is always silent as we all enjoy our meal, from 1.5 years old to 40, its a hit for us all! Fresh and delicious!

So I been going here to the barrhaven location for a long time n I love it the food is always fresh the potions are small depending who’s working but that’s not even my issue !! I recently found out I have a gluten allergy ! So I told the lady n asked her to change her gloves cause I can’t have my food contaminated she was kinda rude about it then passed it down the lane without telling the other lady so she didn’t change her gloves which I didn’t notice at first cause I thought the other girl would make sure, so comes to the third lady I had to tell her!! The customer service isn’t very good n when somone has an allergy they should take that very seriously!! I would love to b able to have a pita but unfortunately I can’t !! Move over I just want to make it known to who ever it’s not our fault for our allergies ! I’m paying for ther service I expect good service n I don’t need the dirty looks !!
