The food was delicious, the place and its atmosphere is amazing and very welcoming and especially unique and the staff is very attentive and friendly. The prices are a little high, but they are worth the food as it was delicious and unique!

I was in town for work and my company held a dinner here. I got the brisket and it was exceptionally good. Other team members stated the food they got was good as well. Would definitely come back here when I’m in town.

Came here for my birthday we were 8 and the drinks were really good, food was very tasty and the servers were fast and nice to us. We got our food pretty quickly too and there a lot of people so it was surprising . Would definitely come back for a casual evening or a celebration.

Good food. The greeting and server was wonderful. Only disappointment was the pitcher I ordered. Was supposed to have strawberries in it, but came with lime and orange slices. Great location.

Absolutely loved this place! The service was fantastic and the food and drinks were top notch. We had dinner before a show then went back for drinks at the bar after. Sam the bartender is so fun and very attentive. We’ll definitely be back.

Impeccable! Drinks were top notch, I had the perogies and they were perfect. Great vibes and overall a must go in my opinion.
I loved the ambiance as we first arrived. We were unfortunately placed in a corner next to a number of loud annoying groups. Not the fault of the pub, but definitely downgraded our experience. The drinks and food were very good, but even still a little on the pricey side. They don't have as large of a beer selection as you would expect from a pub.

I have never experienced a bar like this one. The food and drinks were delightful, and don’t get me started on the service! Sam was my server/bartender and he was absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to come back again! (Came on a Friday night) Spent my birthday like a queen!

Visited Nov 2022We were looking for a venue with a private room in order to host a baby shower brunch, and after struggling to find a place that wouldn’t require a minimum spend, Prohibition Public House came to the rescue! Matt was super responsive in the weeks leading up with the planning, and despite us booking for brunch, they allowed us to stay well past 4, ahead of their dinner rush.They gave us full liberty to set up in their Gangster Room, and it was just perfect.We ordered a few of the brunch charcuterie boards, and it was delicious! A year later, I’m still thinking about it. Too bad we devoured it before we had a chance to snap a pic of it.Our server, Fred, deserves the most kudos! As we were wrapping up the festivities, we all knew we needed one last drink before calling it, and he whipped up the most delicious coffee cocktail.It’s a shame I don’t live in Ottawa, and so I can’t frequent the place more, but looking forward to coming back!
