The texture and taste of my black bean patty was like cold wet cat food, my sweet potato fries were OK but salty. My friend's Greek salad was $16.99 and looked more like a side salad. Barely any feta cheese.

Another Ottawa staple. A family run business at its best. They are awesome because of how long staff have worked there! The food is great. The atmosphere is great and they have this really cool sign outside which has a picture of a guitar!! I'm going to come back for the open mic and of course the Celtic music!!

The atmosphere was cool that's it. Me and my friend got food a black bean burger and Greek salad both were very poor quality.. The Greek salad was 16.99 for oily dressing and wilted tomatoes. Very disappointed. We went to subway right after.

I went at 11:30 on a Tuesday and the bartender was smoking pot out front and not letting anyone in, despite the being only moderately filled. He has been incredibly rude and hateful in other past experiences. I have been a regular for 15 years, but I now avoid this bar like the plague due to this specific bartender.

Exactly what you want in a pub, friendly and welcoming, good vibes. Easy to fit in and feel like part of the scene.

A neighborhood pub in the best sense. V/ cozy atmosphere w/ a good beer selection featuring Ashton Brewery craft beers.

Very nice atmosphere, especially on the terrace outside on a nice evening. Enjoyed the blueberry mead and some pub food, everything deep fried.

Nice and cozy pub, no larger than an average living room. Good attentive service, from the bar keep, and the food is your typical pub fare. One of my favourite publics in Ottawa.

This is the best pub and patio in Ottawa, bar none (no pun intended). it is the quintessential neighbourhood pub. The staff is generally friendly and courteous. If I have a quibble, it is that their menu is very limited. After a few visits, not much choice left. We are promised a new menu. but so far nothing. A shame.

I actually quite like this place for the decor, overall feel and beers on tap. Just got a dry burger and that was slightly disappointing. Just come for the drinks and fish and chips and you'll be just fine.
