Excellent everything for our Saturday lunch!
Service was a 10 from Troy, our grand daughter found your hair style interesting. Meals were served quickly & to everyone’s liking. Will definitely return again next time we’re in the area.

Busy Thursday night but we we're well looked after. Food was fresh, tasty and delicious. Service was great considering the restaurant was full. Worth your time and money.

We took a ride out on the snowmobile with friends today and headed out here because it’s right off the trail. Plenty of parking for snowmobiles. We each had a burger and fries, a six oz burger so delicious! The staff were friendly and very helpful. Well worth the trip!

I loved this place, then hated it, then swore I’d never return. Went back last night and… The Red Dot is back!! Atmosphere, food and service were both excellent. Huge turnaround — well done!!

I don't normally write bad reviews because everyone has days when things don't go well but the Dot has been going down hill for a few years now. The portions have become smaller and smaller. The menu has been reduced by almost half and isn't anything special anymore. Too many wraps etc and not enough good cooking. And the prices aren't cheap. Our waitresses have always been friendly but may have left and gone to work elsewhere. It's kind of hit and miss but more misses lately. And a Club Sandwich uses 3 slices of bread, not a bun. I think what we really need is a true family restaurant. One that serves spaghetti, lasagna, Greek Souvlaki etc. One where you get good value and come away satisfied.

First time visiting. Red Dot burger was very tasty and appeared to be freshly made from a 6oz ground beef patty rather than frozen! Fries were just right. Joelle waited on our table and did a great job.

Our family has enjoyed dining at the Red Dot for over ten years. Wide selection of delicious dishes, awesome desserts, very friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. The top of our list of favourite restaurants in our area.

The crêpes low-key sucked. The way that they folded them just emphasized how little was in it, which was kind of stupid. I understand that they’re not gonna be as good as a place specifically tailored to crêpes, but considering it was more expensive(then the crêpe place in the mall) and significantly worse, it was just disappointing :(

Had been coming here on occasion over the years. It wasn't a chain and the food and service were consistent. Not the case now...the place smells when you walk in, there was no staff on the floor (we waited to be greeted), very few other patrons, no music.

The food - if you are a half decent cook, then don't bother, you will be more than disappointed. The brushetta was a joke, (random white bread cut lengthwise, some tomato, covered in half melted cheese and splashed with balsamic vinegar) looked like a 5 year old made it. Mozzarella sticks - run of the mill. I had the steak, asked to be cooked medium rare, it came as a well done charred puck with a basically raw side of veggies. I had a side of Alfredo and my son had the chicken Alfredo - terrible. Service was also incredibly slow with less than 5 tables in use.

We were a party of 3 and had 2 apps, 3 mains, a side and 3 fountain drinks and desserts $160+ 🙃 Unreal! My favorite thing was always the coconut cream pie. I few years back I noticed the crust was no longer homemade and I was a little miffed but still enjoyed it. This time the store bought crust wasn't even cooked 👎

The atmosphere, service and food were all laughable. Not sure if ownership has changed but I'm over it. These people would benefit from watching some food network. Might learn something 😉

I'm sure I could even teach you a thing or two. Here's some of my food for reference:

We have been going to the Red Dot for years now, but in the last 6 months it has been going downhill. Even the food is not like it was before. No free wifi, and if you go to watch the Blue Jay games forget it they DO NOT HAVE SPORTSNET. I know what bar doesn't have Sportsnet!!! Sometimes people like to go out and watch a game and have a few pints...but not there...... Not impressed.. Food not so good, no free wifi and no Sportsnet.

Whether you live in the area or you're passing through, I highly recommend this gem. Great atmosphere, lovely people, delicious food. Seafood Fettuccine and Sticky Toffee Cake were incredible. Portions are generous. Thank you to chef Rohan for the excellent meal and to server Maddie who was just so delightfully thoughtful. Good vibes all around :)
