“La Cabana is such a great place for El Salvadoran food! We stumbled upon this place totally by accident trying to find Yerba Maté tea in the old location where they have a grocery store attached. The people that run this restaurant is extremely friendly and very patient even during the lunch rush and I didn’t know what to get. The prices are extremely reasonable. Their plantains are certainly one of the best I’ve ever had and I’ve travelled through South America. Definitely order the their Platanos Fritos and their carne asada. The wait to get the food can be a bit long, especially if it’s during their rush hours but it’s worth the wait!“

The food is prioritized above the decor (which is spartan) and service (very welcoming; not wholly anglophone) - so go in expecting to focus on your belly! All around I am blown away by La Villa Latina!“
