I was in downtown and wanted to have a really good wonton soup and I saw this restaurant has good reviews so I decided to give it a try. The soup was AMAZING! The restaurant is very clean. You need to order and pay, then your order will come. Mine came after 1 min. The broth is very tasty. You have all the sauces you need in your table. The soup is huge so I couldn’t try any other thing in the menu because I was so full, but I will come back to try more 😋😋😋😋😋...

I have to leave a review because that Pork and Mushroom wonton soup was exactly like the one I had all the time in Shanghai and have been missing ... The broth, the herbs, the smells, the wonton themselves, it's authentic and just absolutely delicious. Seriously, I have had so many wontons since leaving China, and these were the best ones. Pretty affordable for Downtown Ottawa too, a bowl is enough for a meal and it's $15 with tax and tip!

The prices and quality of the food here make it worth the trip. The shepherds purse dumpling soup is so good! However be warned this feels like a student restaurant. You order at the front, and the ambience is like that of a back ally restaurant in China. I think it adds to the charm but it's certainly austere.
