Terrible! Chicken plate had barely any chicken, half filled with salad and barely any dressing. One little spoonful of garlic and another of hummus. Everything else was dry or stale!

I’m reluctant to review this place because I don’t want this secret to get out. But… This place has the best fried chicken in Ottawa. I don’t go here for shawarma, I go for the chicken. It was all by accident. Went to little Cesar’s for quick pizza for lunch but saw they had fried chicken. I love my fried chicken. I will always try fried chicken. I’ve tried every fried chicken place in Ottawa. I’ve read reviews and I can honestly say this is the best.Has a great crunch, the flavour is very good but not overpowering in any particular spice. It’s well balanced. It’s made fresh. It takes 20 minutes but we’ll worth it cause it’s fresh. The breast was a juicy as the the thigh. Every person that has tried it agrees with me that it’s the best.I haven’t tried the shawarma or anything else so I can’t comment on the other food. Fries are generic but need salt. Gravy is ok but again I go just for the chicken.

Yes same a other reviews. Used to be good but now it smells bad when you walk in and looks filthy. I really hope the owner reads this and hires a cleaner. And throw everything out that's expired.

I bought chicken shawarma sandwich $7.99 and small poutine $7.99. Both were not good. It didn’t have any flavour. It tasted like old reheated meat. Will not recommend this place.

Used to be our favourite Shawarma and the last three times the food has been horrible. Dried chicken, slimy beef, mostly lettuce. Super disappointed. Order before that, the potatoes were hard and old. Staff is also unfriendly. Won't be going again.

In this review i am not talking about the shwarma home im talking about moms fried chicken. This is by far the best fried chicken i have ever had. The flavour is amazing it has the perfect blend of spices and it’s probably marinated chicken considering its so juicy. Like litterally once you bite it juice goes everywhere. It’s also not greasy at all. Even the chicken breast is so juicy it’s like you are eating dark meat. also pretty cheap prices. Also the oil temp is perfect. My dad and I have tried all the “fried chicken” places in ottawa. The others have no chance against this. 100000/10
This place is okay. The food is actually fresh and healthier than the typical shawarma. They don’t put too much oil and salt like other places, which makes it easier to digest. I’d only suggest to improve their potatoes and rice recipes as the ingredients they use are closer to an Afghan style rather than the Lebanese taste we’re used to. Maybe put more garlic? I’d also encourage them to clean their ceiling and ventilation system as we could notice some heavy dark stains of dust, which makes it look like unclean. But otherwise, good efforts to make it work.

It's really a shame. I guess they took over for Shawarma House and changed the name slightly. I placed my order for a family platter over the phone, was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. I got there in 15 minutes and they hadn't started yet. They then charged me more than was advertised. He seemed shocked but said that I was the 3rd person to say that today. When I pointed out that it was on menuottawa at a lower price, he said "no, no, we can't do that" and just went to the back. To top it off, the packaging leaked all over my SUV. The portion was definitely on the smaller side but the food was actually pretty good.

Grabbed a shawarma sandwich. You are greeted with an odd smell when you walk in and the pride of ownership shows. The shawarma itself was ok. The chicken was super dry and the one on the turning spit looked very inedible. Ya ye toppings were added sparingly. The employees are unwelcoming. There are much better shawarma places to choose from.

The first thing I see as I enter the restaurant, is one of the employees laying on one of the couches BAREFOOT! I go and order a kafta plate and as I am waiting, I realize that every single table in the restaurant is dirty, the floor is sticky and the trash is filled up to the brim in the restaurant and in the bathroom! I go and ask for a refund, the guy at the counter doesn't know how to reimburse a transaction done by debit. So I take my order to go, I eat and the kafta tasted like rubber, and all the salads were mixed with the rice and the sauces, overall bad experience.
