It was the first time we had visited this restaurant and we were there for a small team dinner. The set dinner for $75 per person was extraordinary. Delicious, delicious and even more delicious. The only element that was a little less extraordinary were donuts for dessert. They were very tasty, but they felt less than the rest of the dinner. Had my birthday dinner at Sidedoor in Ottawa and tried the Best of Sidedoor tasting menu—every dish was a hit. Exquisite flavors, beautifully presented, and perfect for a special occasion.
Use to have unbelivable food there. We tried some new dish and were disappointed. Also, 3/4 of the menu had fish composant, I'm allergic to fish. The choice because of that was very diminished. Finally, a group sitting at the next table greatly lack consideration for other. It s it the place to film for you tik tok or what else with a very bright camera that keep shining in our eyes. Not the restaurant fault but when we pay ourself a 240$ night out....
