The food was pretty good. Most of the items are on the spicy side and there are only a few vegetarian options. The service is what you would expect from most Asian restaurants.

20 years ago, this was an awesome, lively, place. The original owner worked very hard to engage his clients while ensuring that the food was good. These days, the original owner retired and the place does not serve quality food. The place is dirty. There is no effort at decent service. The picture is the bottom of a chicken stir fry to give an example of what should not be served.Oh, and if you walk in, the AC is dripping right over the front door.

It’s a nice cozy restaurant which is located in Chinatown Ottawa. I ordered Indonesian vermicelli and beef with lemon grass on vermicelli and Shanghai dumplings. It was all great and savory. People were nice too. I recommend vermicelli dishes! It’s really lighter than other noodle and delicious.Vegetarian options: They have vegetable menu.

They are closing this location for good at the end of July and unfortunately, I am not sure we will follow to the other location. We tried to eat there with 30 min to closing and I don't think I have ever felt so unwelcomed at a restaurant. To the point where we asked for a takeout container for the one dish we had ordered so we could leave as soon as possible. And the dish we got, Malaysian fried rice, was half cooked.

I’ve been going to this restaurant since it opened in 1994. Good portions and consistent taste. Also a great vegetarian selection if that’s your thing. Highly recommended.

Just ordered the salt and pepper tofu, lemongrass garlic chicken and chicken flat noodle with so good sauce and it was delectable. Can’t say enough about how quick and flavourful it all was.Top marks!Vegetarian options: Many options in each category!!

I adore this very unassuming restaurant. If you’re craving vegan Chinese comfort food, do yourself a favour and order my top faves:1. 390 Vegetarian fried rice2. 410 Flat noodle in spicy so -good sauce3. 425 Wu Se vegetables (peanut sauce)4. Eggplant (I can’t remember the number :))To top it off - there’s an extremely kind human who works there all the time. I wish I remembered her name - but she always remembered my order when I called and was always very kind.

Highly recommend! The server confirmed almost everything on the menu could be made gluten free. We ordered the peanut chicken, the general tso chicken, beef with green beans, and a rice noodle dish with chicken. Really impressed with the quality and portions of the food as well! I felt comfortable eating here with a gluten allergy and did not get sick.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, vegetarian

Not sure what was going on in the kitchen. Some of the worst Chinese food I've had. Lemon chicken without sauce and cold. Pork dish ice cold and same with veg and noodle dish. I'd be willing to bet it is prepared ahead and then just put in the takeaway containers. I all the dishes which had veg it was just rough cut green and red peppers. That will without question be my last time going there.

The food was great, although the portion size on the chicken was a bit small and padded with green peppers. I really enjoyed their crispy tofu and the green bean dish that we ordered. Fast and attentive service. Decent price.

Used to be So Good, but now maybe not so good anymore. Some classic dishes still great like the pepper salt squid, but their Thai soup has really deteriorated. Other dishes were so so. Hopefully things will improve.

The food was amazing. We ordered one vegetable dish (430), one tofu dish (461) and one order of white rice and it was enough for the two of us, plus one meal to take home. We've gone to other Asian restaurants in the city with vegetarian menus, but this blows them out of the water both in terms of quality and price. The Szechuan Stir Fry Tofu was sweeter than we are used to but it was really tasty. The Broccoli with Lemon Grass and Garlic Sauce was so bright and fresh. The dining room is nothing fancy but it's comfortable and welcoming. The staff were friendly and efficient. It's quite the drive for us, but we will be back for sure!Vegetarian options: There is a separate (extensive) section of the menu with vegetarian dishes

We ordered hot & sour soup, shrimp dish both Szechuan. The soup was not good taste at all. Bland and tasted like some gravy sauce. Threw them away. Worst I have ever had. The Szechuan dishes were ok lacked spice and bland to me. Overall nothing better then avg take out place.Vegetarian options: Veg options
