Plastic glasses to start wasnt so great. Otherwise meal was exceptional. They mixed up my sides. Was supposed to get salad but got fries. They made it good and I got both at no extra cost.

Nice rooftop but food and my cocktail were bleh. The cocktail just tasted like straight rose & lavender syrup, no alcohol detected. The shrimps were like the precooked frozen ones you get at Walmart. For $19, I would like at least raw frozen Walmart shrimps. Waitress was pleasant enough but after she saw our 15% tip her attitude changed dramatically and she left without saying goodbye. Also, not factoring this into my review but the clientele was a bit strange. You had people dressed to the nines for date night and then a couple literally wearing pjs.

The omelette was tasty, but the service completely ruined the experience. The server showed up with an open sleeve exposing his armpit, at one point digging in his nose as if searching for coins. Beyond the lack of hygiene, his attitude was lackadaisical—constantly disappearing, making us hunt him down just to place orders or get the bill. The food deserves better representation than the poor service we received.

Arrived here from a long day of sight seeing in Montreal and from a intensive Omega Park experience and this rooftop bar was just perfect to start the end of night with.

Service was excellent and the local beer in top after a long day was just all too fitting.

Definitely a recommend. Big plus for the views as well from the rooftop bar as the waiter also gave some good tips on areas to visit (and to avoid) which came in handy the next day.

Went here for a birthday, the rudest servers I’ve ever seen. We had a blonde server with a pony tail and the other server was a red head with sunglasses on top of her head. They were so rude, looked us up and down, charged us 3$ per person to cut our cake and rolled theirs eyes even tho we payed 80$ for them to cut the cake. The hostess was very nice, but I can’t say the same for the waiters, they showed 0 level of professionalism. I hope the owner will read this and take action. I would expect better service when there’s an automatic 20% gratuity, it’s like if they didn’t care due to the fact they were guaranteed a tip.

My husband and I asked for a high-top table on the rooftop patio, but the waitress told us it was reserved for the DJ, so we respectfully accepted another spot. Less than 10 minutes later, another couple came in, asked for the same table, and she gave it to them without hesitation.

What kind of service is that? It felt unfair and disrespectful, we were turned away for no reason, only to see someone else get exactly what we asked for.

The Starling was an absolute pleasure for us, we had an amazing time visiting from Montreal, the view from the rooftop was amazing, the drinks were great. But the service was truly out of this world. Our server, Jade, made our night and set our vacation off on the right foot! We would absolutely come back again.

The best. We were 10 on the rooftop. Great ambiance, perfect view. Oh what a fantastic evening. Nice drinks and succulent food.
The service just amazing…special thank you to Juliette for taking care of everyone in a manner that went above expectations. The manager, Brett, arranged our reservation and requests with perfect accuracy…thank you so very much for making our evening perfect. Thank you to all the others who participated in making this graduation party such a success.

Went here to celebrate our Anniversary with my wife. Reserved a seat at the rooftop. Everything is great! Im expecting more for in terms of the food based on what I hear about this restaurant but there is always room for improvement. 9/10 will come back!

What an amazingly cute little place!! Food was incredible, I have the eggs Benny with the salmon gravlax. Highly recommend 👌 there mimosas and margaritas were delicious too!

Went for birthday brunch on a Monday. Place was almost empty which is good for us. We got the prettiest cage table. The food was amazing and definitely got pretty good pictures. I ordered steak and frites. Happy with how the meat was cooked. Although I found peppercorn sauce to be a little charred making it bitter. Overall good food. My cousins ordered breakfast and burger. We also ordered french toast to share. They were all amazing. Server was very nice and good ambiance.
